Apologize for the delayed release. Some technical difficulties due to the match duration. All good now! Enjoy this very close, hard-fought, well-played match.

The ball will rise when it hits the top side of the table. In this case it did not. Good match!

not always, it can skim the edge just barely grazing it and it will go down... seen it too many times.

It won’t rise especially its coming from heavy down spin. Look at the angle it’s not from the side of the table. Just skim the edge of the table.

No way the ball could have hit the side. He hit the ball from nearly the middle of the table to his opponent. It either hit the edge or it hit nothing at all. But from the angle he hit the ball, it's impossible to hit the side of the table.

Did you replay this shot?? I cannot see how you think it was hit from the middle of the table. He let the return drop and from the camera angle it looks to be an inch or so outside the side of the table. Hard to know from this camera angle where it hit for sure but the ball dropped straight down and looks like it even hit a little low on the side.

He did not hit from the center but in a straight line with the edge; the ball did hit the edge as it was impossible to hit the side.

@@HumbleBearcat In this situation it can be very hard to know for sure because it can hit the lowest point of the corner of the table (almost on the side) and it will drop rather than rise. Thankfully this does happen very much!!
