Shimming the neck so the fretboard is the same plane as the body greatly improves playability and issues with the bridge saddles. J-Man has a great series on tweaking this guitar.

Thanks, Rigo. That was a very thorough review. They never seem to put those ball end frets on correctly. It always bugs me when you look down the neck and the fret ends are not lined up with each other.
