Hi you got bigger problems than the drain plugs missing. That big hole in the top of the oil tank should have another cast housing bolted on with a filter assembly in it, early tractors had a wash out metal screen system, newer ones had a paper throw away element both had an access cover bolted on top to get at the filter, I'm not sure on that model number as to what that one should have, as far as I remember the housings and filters aren't interchangeable between old and newer tractors as they are bigger on the newer machines. That open ended Inch diameter hose that points to the big hole is the oil return from the hyd circuit into that missing housing. If you start that tractor and it was that engage lever you are going to blow all the return hyd oil everywhere as it won't go back to tank like it should. It is very unusual for those pumps to quit just like that. I'm still not convinced the pump is out, quitting like that 9 times out of 10 is the flow valves stuck in the main block under the dash. there are other goofy things can happen if one of the other hyd levers is not in neutral to for the other functions like 3 point. If I was just down the road I'd come out and help you with it, A Belarus is more complicated than guys think. While you are online find a North American shop service manual/ operators and parts book for it to. Part 3 might be you filming more of the left side of main block by where you get on the tractor so i can see the end of that block and I might have to explain that flow valve if it's on there Not all Belarus's are created equal depending on the export market for them. . Do not rush out and by that pump before you are %100 . I know guys that were adamant that was the problem, and they looked kinda stupid when the new pump made no difference, and I cleaned the flow valve and it worked perfect. Thanks for the video, Take care.

@@bigdaddy741098 mhm, same with old tractors. They smoke, they drink, they mark their territory (some oil drips from the oil pan, every tractor does it, old ones are just noticable)

agreed... my old lady takes somwhere between 7 and 12Liter/100km, 250ml oil (at 650cc)... also russian :p If she doesn't smoke or pop than she's turned off, if she doesn't leak oil or Gas then she's empty! Always a good indication :D

We had a 1992 and a 1996 Belarus 825 both with cabs. Parts are hard to come by but there was a site online that had pretty much anything you would need. Super strong tractors, never had any issues with the engine, trans or hyd systems but the electrical (24V) was a nightmare. Ended up converting fuse blocks and relays to parts that you could get at AutoZone.

I love it. Recently bought a Ford 5000 with a newer loader on it at auction. Got it real cheap. When they sold it they announced that it would need injectors or a injection pump etc. Took a chance. Charged the battery, fixed the fuel filter where the drain was sucking air and she fired right up! Little bigger loader tractor then I need but cheap is cheap lol

There is hydraulic valve under the dashboard, i'm not sure what it is in english, but i call it "free float valve" for now. If it is stuck open, you wont get any hydraulic pressure and this is a fairly common problem on Belarus. The pump might be ok 👍

I love these videos for the fact you do your projects on a sensible budget. This tractor was built in the eastern European country of Belarus, which gained its independence from the Soviet union in the late eighties or early nineties. Hey I usually don't tell anyone how to take it safe but they are known for jumping into gear. just last week it happened to my next door neighbor and ran him over and he is still in the hospital! His was quite a bigger model so it alot to him he's lucky he is still alive. Those old Belarus's are good old tractors and don't have many problems. I know die hard farmers who would never buy foreign still talk good about the air cooled motors! Also the loader looks like a really heavy duty one! Most people who complain about parts have actually never looked for them my neighbor has always be and to get parts easy without using the internet he doesn't like the shipping cost but its still cheaper than anything JD.
