For future engine swaps, do all the ground work then take the front wheels off and set the disks on 2x4's or lower control arms on 6x6's, a lot easier on the belly and pulling the motor closer to the ground makes it easier peasier

Good call on Removing the intake. So many guys pull their hair out trying to get the top trans bolts out when you have super easy access to them by removing the intake! Nice find on the truck too!

Your shop light was worth the subscribe. I have the same one. I can't believe someone was able to blow up a 2015. I was shocked I bought a 04 avalanche that had 2 broke rods but it had 230,000 miles. Same problem previous owner never changed the oil.

DXFXmc blew head gasket, bent a rod and the piston started to hit the crank. Bad bottom end knock.

Keep the you tube videos coming. I love watching you guys work and you guys are really funny too. I have been working at a Chevy dealership as a technician for twenty years and I feel from a set of rafters helping a buddy build a shop when I was in my early twenties and I never went to a dr for it and I was down for a Couple of months but I got back to work but now I’m in my middle 40s and that injury has made it impossible for me to stand for any amount of time. I had to quit working and I have all of my equipment stuffed into a small garage-shed. But what I enjoy is watching you guys work together and make jokes and have fun while your working and that reminds me of when I was able to do that. Keep up the good work and awesome videos!!!

I'm by no means a mechanic, but I did see somewhere that before removing the hood (or doors, too, I guess), for perfect alignment when reinstalling them, you can drill a hole through the bracket & hood/door hinge such that you can later place a punch in the hole to have it line up perfectly - no rejiggering necessary.
