kinda silly but they can say that the smoke and noise isnt contained to the private lot or property. If you are in your driveway doing standing burnouts, they can actually tell you to stop if its making too m uich noise or if the smoke is going out intio the road. Im sure this town police dept. all know him and just tell him to knock it off when they get called. I bet they dont even try to ticket him.

@czarekaj1098
@czarekaj1098 2 жыл бұрын
@@moomaniac2932 OK. I'll try. When assembling any engine, different parts are screwed together with bolts or studs. They have a different torque specifications ( twisting force) and to achieve that you should use a torque wrench. For light applications it might be in inch/lbs and larger parts like crankshaft caps or head bolts it will be in ft/lbs.. Impact wrenches are impossible to set to correct values unless the assembly process takes place in a factory like Mercedes Benz or Porsche where all the bolts are torqued by a computer controlled machine.

@czarekaj1098
@czarekaj1098 2 жыл бұрын
@@moomaniac2932 That's pretty much it. Most pneumatic impact guns have 2 settings , high and low impact and left or right turn. Depending on size and manufacturer they can produce between 500-800 ft/lbs on high and about half on low. Most automotive shops use 1'2 inch drive impacts that are rated for about 550-600 ft/lbs. If you would try to use that impact gun on a bolt that have a torque spec of 10-25 ft/lbs, you would snap that bolt before you would even know it.

There's nothing that compares to that feeling. And what you may not notice is the long hours, days, sometimes weeks of failures and getting your ass kicked by the car that won't start, or run right. But then.. after you've said fuck it I'm done countless times, lost tempers, stared silently at it for too long, and talked both sweetly and horribly at the car...boom.. it starts and roars to life. It's a knock out in a boxing match, the game winning catch, bottom of the ninth grand slam and first your time all rolled into one. It's the sweetness. Go find out.

Okay buddy…. For future reference a couple things you don’t want to do one of them is man handle the blower hat blades, also when you have a hat like that with no filter don’t do donuts in the dirt because all those rocks and dirt flying around is getting sucked right into that blower. Ik you probably expect the engine to blow soon but that’s a nice blower and you don’t want to mess it up just one Little Rock can ruin your day.

@@jagharingenyoutube You’re right i thought he just used a spacer i didn’t see the filter in there until i paused it. But still with a nice expensive new blower like that it’s still not a good idea to have it sucking in all that dust you want your blades to be as sharp as possible and as smooth as possible with the least resistance. A lot of Australian burnout cars have to rebuild blowers frequently just because of the sludge that comes from the tire smoke.

I used to have a pro street '72 Nova with a 496 cid big block (454 stroker). It wasn't street legal (but it could have been if I did a few things to it). During the last couple of years that I had it, I kept it at my auto repair shop in small town in TN. My shop was on an industrial road where there were some concrete plants and very little traffic, but there were some storage units there too. One day I snuck the Nova out and ran it hard down the street for just a couple of minutes. There was a woman at her storage unit that called the local police on me. When the police arrived a little bit later, they saw my Nova just sitting at my shop and I joked with them for a few minutes. They said that the woman claimed that I was doing insane speeds and nearly lost control of the car (which wasn't even remotely close to being true, hahaha, and I let off the gas at around 60+ mph). We all laughed about it, but they did say to be careful (obviously). Of course, I would continue to let the beast stretch its legs on that industrial road from time to time before I parted with it. This video reminded me of that, haha.
