Definitely interested In a set for my 17 ultra, my only hold is that misalignment of the saddlebag cutout with the fender extension cutout. If you pause at 2:46 It really shows. Any fix to that? Otherwise I definitely like the product especially with the factory color match.

I noticed that the stretched bags and fender do not meet up properly at the cut outs top seam 2:42 Bad install? or design flaw? Also 3:13 the bags stick out pass the rear extended fender.

I have different bags - made out of fiberglass and are lined, but I digress. Anyway, I have a hell of a time matching up my exhaust to the cutouts. Anytime I take my bags off for maint and then put them back on, they never look as good when they were first put on.

It's hard to say, but you might want put rubber spacers or bumpers on the saddlebag rail itself and secure them there with tape or something. That should lock them into position a little better.

Why don’t the bags match up with the fender extension on the white bike? Is it adjustable to make it line up better. The bag cut out seems higher than the fender extension. Looking to upgrade my HD bags

I'm wanting the drop bags and fender extension on my 2012 street glide. Would like the kids with speakers but kinda want to use harley lids so might just have to see how hard it is to upgrade to 2014 lids some had the speakers from factory and also from what I've seen have a better way to open bag. Except for wanting them to drop more I love my harley bags just sux trying to open them sometimes. Guess it's just me being petty but when i open that bag i want to see that harley logo. Lol

You can get the 14-up bag bottoms that we sell and use newer style harley lids and hardware if you find it used. You could also get our bag bottoms and lids and get the OE HD hardware, goes right on.

I see that in this video the black bike's exhaust is slightly touching the exhaust ( 2:22 ). I have similar issues with my CFRs.... I've tried to align the bags with a piece of rubber, but not dice. Did you ever get those pipes to align properly?

Hey Brenton, we did get it right. I actually removed the original thicker rubber pieces and just used some electrical tape with the thinner pieces and taped them right on the saddlebag rail. That gave me all kinds of room, so no matter what exhaust is going on now they all look good.

Thanks for replying so quickly. I still have to play around with it a bit. I'm thinking my exhaust is tweaked outward too much, so I'll be checking into that as well. I am still waiting on the fender extension before I do anything. Thanks again!

That's definitely something else to play around with. Sometimes it's not just the mufflers that are tweaked, the cross under pipe could also be a little offset one way or another. That's another adjustment you might want to checkout if you continue to have trouble.

They would fit around them, but the NH's are a little on the short side, so the bottom part of the bag actually sticks out beyond the muffler.

Will these work with the RCX 4.5" slip ons, or are they too big?

They will fit. It takes a little playing around with the rubber spacers that are included, but they'll fit. With the RCX the only thing you need to worry about is the length of the tip. The shorter ones, like the Torx eclipse that we have don't stick out from under the bags. If you don't already have the RCX 4.5s you'll want to choose one of the longer tip options.

Yes you can. We've put them on with the most popular sets and had no trouble. It can take a little extra adjusting, but they do fit.

You would re-use your lids, so that's not a big deal. Depending on how the lights are installed, that might be the trickier part.

There is a difference, but we haven't scraped or dragged anything yet and we're in Pennsylvania so the roads suck and they're curvy.

@@WestEndMotorsports yeah based on my estimate it makes the lowest part of your bike 1 inch lower, which probably equates to 2-3 degrees less lean angle, likely not noticeable 95 percent of the time.

We removed it. Some people use a hidden antenna or just drill a hole for the stock one. Honestly, everyone seems to listen off of a device rather than the radio itself so it hasn't been an issue.

Hey Joe! The season just started so of course I'm watching. With the 4.5s you do have to play around with the rubber spacers on the bottom of the bag.

I haven't had anyone do it yet so I'm not 100% sure, but the angle of the bag bottoms is the same as stock, so I really don't see it being an issue.Unless there's some other component to the way the side covers go on that we're not aware of. No they would not, at least as far as we know. Your bags are smaller and mount differently. Not sure if there's some way to modify them, but I can't see how.
