You appear to be "clicking" the trigger,squeeze it and hold it in until the target is hit,it will be similar to shooting centrefire with the extra kick and most semi auto airguns do have a bit of a heavy trigger

rick that is impressive for .30 cal. i am taking a different aproach, i can bolt action as fast as you are semi auto shooting that. so i use my aea hp max 51 cal regulated , and i really like the .495 slugs i swuaged out to .510 because it makes them fragment on contact with anything hard like bone at 350fpe into 6-8 projectiles .30 or .25 cal and i get a consistent 18 shots before i go off reg rick. and since you have to refill after that mag well i get more shots at higher energy so i will keep what i have. exploding slugs are pretty fun. enjoy your rattler. i wouldnt trade ya, i have $1300 into the hp max and it is glorious. Spin stabilization some are more accurate at 100 and not so at 50 something to do with the twist rate and the leght of the slug

Not bad 100 yd performance. Wasn’t impressed with 50 yd grouping but 100 wasn’t bad. Now, was that a onetime group? Sub 2” Accuracy in 150+ fpe rifles is not easy.
