After seeing this footage I can clearly see why they lost. The aussies used very little man power along with using machine guns at such long ranges which for sure made it difficult to actually hit those moving targets. They underestimated these these factors 😂

The history of wars in Australia, First it was the War Against the Rabbits, when they first invaded Oz in 1859, then there were the Dingo Wars of 1885 (no truce was ever signed, so it has never officially ended), 1932 it was the Emu War (The Emus won and claimed 78% of Australian territory as their own), there was the Feral Cat War that started in 2015 (still going, the kitties are tenacious), then most recently it's been the Mice War, when many Australian farms were over run by the barbarian hordes.

That's 1 of those images I can picture on this situation. Who knows what other ridiculous ideas during the Emu War they had. Maxim Guns and heavy weapons definitely wouldn't have worked much given the sheer weight of the weapon, that the birds really weren't still and you had to have more than 1 guy just to move the weapon and ammo.
