Lot of issues in Maharahstra stem from the fact that locals demand more than compensation, and bring about Caste card and the goon parties are ready to back them. Maharashtra is the California of India, but UP and Gujarat are speeding up. Maharashtra deserves the best.

I find it rather ironic that the Maharashtra portions of the WDFC as well as the Delh-Mumbai expressway are taking the longest to complete. These are probably the shortest portions when you look at state wise length, and I guess land acquisition costs are to blame. Similar issues were faced when the Mumbai-Nagpur expressway was under construction, and the portion closest to Mumbai is still incomplete - people were reluctant to give up land that they had invested in unless they got a really good price for it.

For Samruddhi expressway MSRDC offerred 3 options. One of that was take lump sump money of 5 times the ready reconer rate which is almost 3 times the market value. Because of this the land aquisition completed in record time. Other options were mouth watering too and the payout was immidiate. For DME and MAHSR mahavikas aghadi govt delayed land aquisition on purpose.

In your video you revealed that the progress in Maharashtra is slow, as per my opinion the past Governments ( 1960 - 1992 ) in Maharashtra never bothered to properly compensate the landowners who’s lands were acquired for state or progressive purposes and hence the projects in Maharashtra become slow as well as costly also. People ( who’s lands acquired for some projects ) had to take the course of courts to get compensations from the State of Maharashtra. The freight corridor is going to be more advantageous to the other states than Maharashtra.

yaha 2015-19 aur 2022 se bjp ki government hai, fir bhi bjp ne kuch nahi Kiya. Ulta Bjp ki Central government ne Mumbai metro ke car shed ka construction rokne ke liye court main case daali hai. Everybody knows BJP's wants to shift Maharashtra industries to Gujrat

The moment someone says that a national project is more beneficial to other state than ur own state, that's where the purpose of India a country fails. The nation fails and the people living in it suffer. This mentality is a cancer!

Maharashtra is the most industrialized state in India... Dedicated Freight corridors would be extremely advantageous in reducing logistics cost involved in transporting goods manufactured in Maharashtra to North Indian states like UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, etc.

One thing i noticed is in Bihar and WB Eastern DFC is not complete. Will it mean politics of Bihar and WB are not allowing UP to develop industrially that to Eastern UP region. Now they will use Western DFC in western UP and Haryana and these regions will develop faster

In spite of delay in Mah, it is good to know that 3 ports of Gujarat are connected to WDFC. Also internal transport of material like Suzuki cars, clinker from plant A to Plant B of cement factory, coal movement are already taking advantage of DFC

Maharashtra needs to up it's game if it wants to remain the progressive state of india, Gujarat, karnataka, tamil nadu, are catching up to Maharashtra slowly, and in 10-15 years, Gujarat and Karnataka will leave Maharashtra in dust as they become manufacturing hubs of india, and uttar Pradesh will also compete with Maharashtra....

We do not discuss any political issues here, but we need to discuss the State Policies in Maharashtra. Gujarat is a potential state where investors from all over the country want to establish in North Maharashtra and Central Maharashtra along the MP-Maharashtra border. We want to send a proper message to the State Government that those who have properties like lands and water resources before the formation of the State have the Right to get proper compensation?

Regarding the stations as you said in the WDFC, they are going to serve a purpose for section and line control for the station managers, loading and unloading of freight or cargo if any nearby industries are present, and to provide siding to particular freight trains if high priority cargo needs to go first. They are not going to cater to the public since it is a freight corridor and not a normal transit station.

Not 1 km of dedicated freight corridor was there in 2014. It's built in last 9 years. Both western and eastern dedicated freight corridor. In next term, South and Eastern corridor will be built. All 4 will be connected.

Dedicated freight corridors are for better logistics. All freights on this tracks will be faster, all passengers trains also can run faster. 1 dfc should pass through Maharashtra west to east. also , as central India will be connected to ports.
