"Western HTS Snowplow Review: The Good, the Bad, and the Busted"

In this KZbin video, I share my experience with the Western HTS plow and how it unexpectedly broke while I was plowing a customer's driveway. I explain how the metal piece of the plow completely snapped in half, leaving me unable to raise it. I had no choice but to drop the plow and quickly purchase a used one to finish the job for the night. Thankfully, I was able to find a used plow and only experienced a one-hour delay due to the breakage. However, it was unfortunate that I had to invest in another Western HTS plow, as I had been hoping to upgrade to a Western MVP, a three snowplow, or a Western Wide Out XL snowplow. Sometimes in this business, unexpected purchases are necessary, and this new Western HTS snowplow was definitely not on my list of planned expenses.

Such a tough break, glad you were able to get a replacement and take care of those contracts for the season.

Yeah, it sucked but at the same time I was able to keep plowing the route. That was the main thing!

You should have bought a western midweight! It would have work plug and play!

Probably, but this plow was 10 minutes away and I was able to grab it and continue plowing. I personally knew the guy so I was able to pay him two days later. Was able to continue plowing. That was the main goal.

Also, there was no mid weight plow close by. Plow broke down in a Saturday night so I wouldn’t have been able to get to the dealer till Monday. This really was my only option, other than trying to subcontract the route out
