Love This painting. I dont mind the long video at all. I just break it down and study a little at a time what you are doing. I'm 75 years old, painted most of my life. Widowed now, it's hard to get started again. Would love to just sit and paint with you. Watching you is relaxing for me. Thankyou very much

A really outstanding Western Landscape Painting. Pretty amazing how you were able to capture the features on the cowboys face, & the way his hat tips upward. How did you change the little doggie so quickly? His expression made me smile. All the shadows in the horse are amazing. Thank you, for sharing all of your knowledge!

Dear Sir, I am an avid fan of your simple, yet very instructional step-by-step painting. I am old, and newly found this hobby, Now my husband passed away, and I have time to pursue my hobby. However, can you show me a landscape with a mountain of waterfalls, a bird at the side, lilies flower bed down the mountain

Love this one so much. I’m sad that the algorithm is not great for long videos. I want to hear everything, and you share so many extra nuggets of wisdom when you have lots of time. Oh well- whatever is best for this channel must win, but I want you to know that I’m all for long videos- even the ones that are broken up over 2-3 videos.

And here it I thought roses are endlessly fascinating 🤔😋. Actually, I now can see where I go wrong with the roses and how I can fix them because of you. I'm still chasing that David J rose. I haven't gotten there yet, but I love the process. That quote from the western artist is so true. You really do get a bit of everything when you paint a western. Right now I'm struggling with getting the colors right when painting my two Friesians. Painting black horses is tricky because they are so black, they really don't have that red in their coats. I don't think I have ever seen a black horse in any of your paintings. If you have any pointers on how to paint one in your half tones and broken colors I would love to know. I just think your style/technique in painting animals is absolutely brilliant! Really, I love all the movement and life in everything you paint. God bless you! And, thank you for your wonderful videos! I continue to learn a lot with every video you put out.😊🐎🐂🐎🐂🐎

My dead had a horse that he dearly loved that is in the color range that you have been painting. I have watched you as closely as possible to learn your techniques for painting that color of a horse. It has helped me tremendously. Love those horse paintings, please continue with them.

Dear David, Thank you, thank you, thank you for the treasure trove of techniques you share with this beautiful Western. I've been working on the Dutch Roses from three weeks ago -- using that glazing technique. Your instruction on how to use glazing here in the Western is fascinating to me. I'm beginning to understand what you mean when you say Westerns and Landscapes help us with Roses. I just want to say -- for me -- the longer the video, the more I learn. Great to see you. Best regards to you and yours. JV
