The series of Western Norway 4K films in one. A one hour special starting Flåm, to Bergen, Balestrand, Volda, and finally Ålesund. Without doubt my best Norway film so far! Enjoy.

I incidentally came across this video while I was searching scenery films of Norway. Thanks for posting this special documentary on You Tube, it’s very different from those commercial films, just like listening to a friend's sharing, full with affection about the places where you stayed and experienced. I visited to Norway in late spring in1993 for a study tour when I was studying in Manchester and have been keeping all those stunning views deep in my memory since then. I am from Hong Kong too. Indeed, Norway appears as a haven from the eyes of those who lives in a tiny, crowded and overdeveloped urban city.

Thank you for the wonderful video. I lived outside Oslo as a child for 3 years in the late 1950's when my Dad who was USAF was stationed there. Our ship, The Oslofjord, left New York and it's first landfall was Bergen. We had a day to tour and I loved it. My best friend from those years is a Norwegian named Henrik and we became friend in 1957 and now we're 70 and still friends. Henrik, my wife, sister, brother in law, and myself all went to Bergen again in 2006. Henrik and I are planning another west coast of Norway trip, perhaps some driving and some on Hurtigruten. You're right, Norway is raw nature! Cheers!

What a wonderful video! Norway is such a stunningly beautiful country, your film brought back some great memories of my several visits there, and reminded me that another visit is long overdue. I was intrigued by the dancing woman by the waterfall, the visibility of the tether preventing her from falling into the falls serving as a reminder that she was only there as an attraction for tourists. I wanted to define her presence as tacky, but for some reason I couldn't, instead seeing it as representative of the mystical land that is Norway! Thank you for brightening my Saturday morning. 😊

I looked at one of your beautiful films showcasing the awesome beauty of Norway last night and tonight I will resume watching this one as I lay in the comfort of my bed. I am simply in awe of the amazing natural beauty of this country - Norway - and your camera and filming lend it every bit of justice and well deserved reward possible. I enjoy your accompanying, spontaneous commentary as well, because it is not canned, regurgitated and 'overly touristy' in its essence and presentation. I thank you for taking the time to both film these beautiful and here to fore unseen and unknown places and to share them with ME and so many others as well. Norway is now firmly entrenched at the very PINNACLE of wondrous and beautiful places that I hope someday to be so Blessed and privileged to be able to visit. I have been to many countries all around this planet, but so much of the natural beauty that you have managed to capture and showcase in your videos appears to be unmatched. Thank you Sir! Cheers!

We flew into Bergen, took a ferry to Balestrand, another to Flam, and then the railway to Myrdal (and then the train to Oslo). We were only 3 weeks behind you to see all these places! It was awesome to watch your video (which was well produced and edited) and see all the places we were at as well! It was funny to see you at the cottages in Balestrand next to all the RVs, I went walking down that road at 11pm one night to get some photography, and spoke with some Germans, Ukranian, and Dutch people who were fishing and staying at the RV park, sharing stories and watching the whales in the fjord. As a photographer, I will only have pictures from those gorgeous places, but after finding this, I will always have a video documentary of the places we went to, so thanks for this! :)

Love your Norway footage. I'm a retired airline pilot living on my coffee plantation here in Hawaii. I have traveled the world and lived in Europe, but never seen Norway. Now I want to meet a Norwegian Wahine so we can spend summers in Norway and Winters in Hawaii. 😉

There is probably a Wahine in Norway with the same plan. Lol. I was just in HI where are you?

exceptional video in both scenery and narration. very laid back presentation, but not labored. the scenery was presented w/out a terrible sense of rushing. what a beautiful country. the houses are absolutely wonderful in their architecture. the little red farmhouse cottage was delightful. i really enjoyed this presentation, and i may have decided that my next trip should be to this wonderful country.

Thank you so much for the video. It reminds me of the month I spent there, going on a trip from Oslo to the polar Arctic circle, with my 5 year old son. I'll never forget the Lofotens, the village of Å, the amazing fjords and the culture. Thanks a zillion for the memories :-) I'll never forget this most beautiful country ever :-D

Listening your narration is just like hearing from the old man- Santiago talking with wisdom words about his life experience in the novel of the old man and the sea by Ernest Hemingway. Very soothing, touching and inspiring. I always felt refreshed after watching your video and amazed by how you caught the amazing scenes around the world and came up with inspiring ideas. Great job! What a modern and living Socrates!

Just found this video on my recommended list. My paternal great grandparents were from Norway and my dad lived in Bergen and Oslo for a couple of years in the '60s. I long to visit this beautiful land someday. For now though, I am grateful for travel documentaries such as this that inspire and educate me
