Very nice, thank you.😊 The song has a sort of Bacharach/David feel to it... Shall look out for the finished product. Best😊.

Aw man!! Elisa was a GREAT help to me when I penned the liner notes for Little Anthony & the Imperials CD many years ago. She connected me with her mother who collaborated on several gems with her legendary dad. Please give her my regards. Elisa's parents would be so proud

I love this stuff. I'm far away in NC and was a big fan of Teddy Randazzo, Phil Spector and Leiber/Stoller. Still a big fan. Thank you so much.

In the flesh! Thanks for the behind the scenes and thanks for all the tunes, including the recorded-at-Western "I've Got So Used To Loving You." Coming up on a year since I first heard it and would now consider it one of my favorite recordings - these days that's very rare for a tune that's new to me. What they were playing also made me recall one of the many songs of my own that I just keep in my head and am vulnerable to forgetting.

Thanks for sharing Anthony! I enjoyed the tour inside the building, the practice session and a bit of the ambience of Hollywood just before Christmas 2024 outside the building where you were walking.

Producer Matthew Santurro has an impressive appreciation for the style and sound of the mid-1960s L.A. music scene. An amazingly talented and humble fellow.

I could watch something like this all day long. Thank you so much for bringing all of us along with you on your day there. I'm also really digging the music in general, it's so reminiscent of the 1960s music that made the place legendary. Any info on what this is going to become?

I don’t know what that song is but it has transported me back to the 60s! It sounds like a piece Brian Wilson would have done at Gold Star. When it’s completed can you give me a link or tell me when the album comes out?

Any updates by Matthew Santurro wil be noted on this video. I too am excited to hear the finished recordings.

Too cool, Anthony! The song the band was playing sounds very Pet Sounds-y. Are you at liberty to discuss the musical project we hear in the video?
@AnthonyReichardt20 күн бұрын
Two songs were recorded that day with Elisa Randazzo as the vocalist. That is all that I know about the project. I too am anxious to hear the finished recordings. Any updates about the songs by producer Matthew Santurro will be noted on this video.

If you could've filmed the '60s sessions, they would've been a lot like this, sans computers, of course!

Nice tour Anthony! Is this location near the old Gold Star studio? I would have given my right arm to crawl into Dave's echo chamber. I hope he's still around.

John, The site of Gold Star is about 12 blocks southwest of 'Western Recorders'; just under a mile away. I saw Dave Gold at a luncheon at his home a year ago, and he was doing well. I, too, would have loved to have seen inside that wonderful echo chamber.❤
