Sadhguru, just trying to explain Adwait Vedant without offending the people of faith! Obviously, I am not considering those political correctness, I come straight to the point and logic of it, no intention to hurt anyone's feelings 🙏! Let's first discuss the Creator concept, even Sadhguru's point is clear that concept of Creator or GOD emerges out because of our perception of the Existence (i.e 'Creation')! That makes clear about the basis of concept of Creator. So, the biggest argument given in favour of creator, "how come so much sophisticated existence be without being created by an intelligent creator?" Now point is, "The creator of that much sophisticated existence is bound to be Himself even more intelligent and sophisticated, so who created the creator then, again creator of creator even more sophisticated, so again who created Him and this will form a non ending series!" Now if you say, "Nobody created Creator, He is onto Himself", then you destroyed your initial basic argument of Existence being not possible without being created, "if even more sophisticated creator can be on His own without being Created, then why can't even lesser sophisticated Existence can be on it's own without being Created." Hence, the concept of Creator is a limited concept. And along with that the theory of Intelligent design is also based on limited understanding and hence not true!

We find around us people of diverse groups or ethnic backgrounds, religious backgrounds, each one clamour with the other, teaching to establish, my belief is correct, yours is wrong or I am right, you are wrong. WHAT IS THE PROOF OF GOD? How may God’s are there? Is there only one God? If there is only one God, who is that God? How do we know that a God even exist? We have also atheists around us who clamour to scientifically prove that all this God thing is absolute imagination and tradition and there is no such power as some people claim. I am a lay man, but many years back, a King, a French King asked a similar question, what is the proof for the existence of God? Do you know the answer he received? Over 300 years ago, King Louis XIV of France asked Blaise Pascal, the great Christian philosopher, to give him proof of God. Pascal answered, “Why the Jews, your Majesty, the Jews!” In your quest to find the existence and nature of God, start your journey from that answer. Why the Jews? Even today, why the Jews, one is equal to ten. Why so? You will definitely get the answer for all the questions poised above. By the way, I am not a Hindu, a Jew, a follower of Christianity, Muslim or any other so called religions of the world. Neither am I an atheist. The Word is going to see some changes within a span of ten years. The turbulence and the roaring of the seas i.e. people as we are fast approaching a time period foretold to the Jewish people and its signs are everywhere? What are those signs? To all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Those who believed, also obeyed him, kept his word. Light up your Soul with the light of life before the Lord God takes away the breath of life, that you have eternal life with God. What is the LIGHT that can LIGHT UP MAN’S SOUL? God is formless and genderless... But God can also assume forms when He/She happens to come to earth in various avatars. Shakti and Shiva are embodiments of God who has assumed human forms to allow us to identify and relate easily with God, as it is easier to relate to and practice devotion (bhakti) to the divine through the form aspect rather than the formless aspect. But Sadhguru's assertion that there are 36 million gods and goddesses is not corroborated in Hindu scriptures. The 33 crore devi devtas are demigods who have dominion over various realms and dimensions of nature. But the avatars which God chose to appear when He (most commonly referred as male gender mainly because the father is seen as the head in many cultures) descended on earth for the purpose of destroying evil and increasing righteousness , those divine forms are few and can be counted on fingers, and the primary ones being just 5 or 6.

There is lot of difference between Paramathma , Devi , Devas, Asuras , God , Dieties , Kula Daiva, Village Devta , Ishta Devta , Ishwar , Avatar Etc ... Problem with Non Hindus especially westerns is that they put all these categories in the basket of GOD ... Hindus can't define God because It's a Dimention which can only be Experienced... 🙏🙏🙏

What's staring for one hour going to achieve...? A whole wasted hour... Imagine feeding the poor for 1 hour, helping special needs folks for 1 hour, doing something proactive and good deed for that hour and not just staring will help us... WHAT IS THE PROOF OF GOD? How may God’s are there? Is there only one God? If there is only one God, who is that God? How do we know that a God even exist? We have also atheists around us who clamour to scientifically prove that all this God thing is absolute imagination and tradition and there is no such power as some people claim. I am a lay man, but many years back, a King, a French King asked a similar question, what is the proof for the existence of God? Do you know the answer he received? Over 300 years ago, King Louis XIV of France asked Blaise Pascal, the great Christian philosopher, to give him proof of God. Pascal answered, “Why the Jews, your Majesty, the Jews!” In your quest to find the existence and nature of God, start your journey from that answer. Why the Jews? Even today, why the Jews, one is equal to ten. Why so? You will definitely get the answer for all the questions poised above. By the way, I am not a Hindu, a Jew, a follower of Christianity, Muslim or any other so called religions of the world. Neither am I an atheist. The Word is going to see some changes within a span of ten years. The turbulence and the roaring of the seas i.e. people as we are fast approaching a time period foretold to the Jewish people and its signs are everywhere? What are those signs? The Jews will be scattered to the farthest corners of the World and from the ends of the World they will be brought (Aliya of the Jews) back to a Nation born on one day (1948). The land that was desolated until then will bloom. The City Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles (people of all ethnic groups). What were the message the Apostles trying to share through the Gospel? Was it not to declare that Yeshua is not only the Messiah, but Yeshua is the Lord? So also, you who believed, may SHARE THE INHERITANCE PROMISED TO THE SAINTS, TO THOSE WHO HAVE BELIEVED AND OBEYED. What is the inheritance promised? To all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Those who believed, also obeyed him, kept his word. Light up your Soul with the light of life before the Lord God takes away the breath of life, that you have eternal life with God. What is the LIGHT that can LIGHT UP MAN’S SOUL? Is it Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism Atheism or the other religions/belief’s of the world? In Vedic veda says that God is everywhere in every body and has a godly part that is called as atma (soul) . The purest thing in every body is atma . Atma is godly things present in every living thing. If some one wants to be god then he knows about his soul . But there are 5 types of soul present in the human body. Jiva atama is the first soul bigger from other soul . That jiv atma going to hell and birth cycle. Under jiv atama there are 4 atma when you open 7 chakras then you can feel your soul. But after 7 chakra open you can control many things like death but after 7 chakra open you can't say about the last stage of soul. That is a very good question, and for sure two separate things. I would say, if I'm being honest, probably just learning about it right now. Although reading the book by Michael Singer 'Untethered Soul' he describes navigating life in the seat of consciousness/pure awareness as the true spiritual path. I guess understanding consciousness and our relationship to it. I thought that was an interesting perspective that I can relate to. So many seem to get caught in "being a spiritual person" to mean, they mediate and buy crystals 😄. I read once a buddhist describe it as Spiritual Materialism that we have to cut through to get to the true meaning of living a spiritual life. Anyway, I am waffling now. Maybe that makes no sense!

I actually don't really like the term God because I think it holds too many connotations to the "scriptural god" as you call it. The term you use Pure Consciousness is more fitting in my opinion. In fact, I find what he says confirms what I feel rather than confuses me...maybe that didn't come across in the video. But I have spent my whole life being guided in this way of thinking of God.

Go inside yourself to find god. Dont try to find it in the skies and space or some other dimension or in future or past. When you look inside for guidance, whatever you see, you pray to that, you may create an idol, you may just visualize or you may just call it with a name that you have given it. That is how we sanatanis have so many gods. God a creation that came out of desperation to find a way or to have hope when there is no light. You cannot say this god is the only truth. Because different people travel the darkness differently. But the end goal is to find the light which is one.

Here is what Hinduism believes in . The universe is created by a woman , (Adi Shakti). or goddess Durga or Lakshmi or Sarwasthi whatever. However, the god takes any form as per the context & issue. When the society become chaotic & can not reforms on its own. god come to fix it and the form he/she comes depends on the context & the demons strengths. That is why Lord Vishnu has 10 incarnation. Each of one is different. In form, he came as half lion & half human being. Because , the demon got a blessing from Lord Shiva that he could not be killed by either demon , or animal or human ,or in night or in day time. According to the Vedas, God is formless, omnipresent, omniscient, kind, just. He didn't created this worled and it's people's(according to Vedas God, souls, most fundamental particles of nature are eternal). He created karma fal sidhant (action reaction). He never forgives even how much you pray him. So if anyone does sins it wouldn't be forgiven until punishment(not hell, because hell or heaven doesn't exist according to Vedas). Ps:god won't forgive you for your sins even if you follow vedas. Punishment is same for everyone. I am just throwing this out for People Criticism 😊 The Origin of the word GOD. It derived from a Pagan Being called: The English word god comes from the Old English god, which itself is derived from the Proto-Germanic *ǥuđán. From Pagan to a Modern English word GOD. this why I don't believe in God. In all Ancient cultures their was a being there that made a Strong Impact in Human lives but these being were not the same. So this is just some food for thought.😊

Ohhh that is SO interesting. I didn't know that this is the origin of the word God, but I was just chatting to someone else in the comments that I don't really like/use the word to describe my beliefs because of it's connotations to religion and some guy in the sky controlling everything and passing judgement. I think the other commenter described it as Pure Consciousness, which I think much better describes how I think of God. Thanks for sharing that info!

@@spiritualreactions GOD is an IDEAOLOGY that came from the early Romans arriving in Europe 1700 years aback. There is no proof anywhere in the world that A Singular being Created everything. So the early Christian made it up for their people to believe it's the Supreme Religion.

@@spiritualreactions I think that's why people are turning to Meditation. But saying that theirs No GOD to people in society could get violent 😕 so only a few who have discovered it will tell a few. So keep seeking and keep on your Spiritual Path. One more thing Every thing we know has Creation came from DIVINE ENERGY the Name the Acient called it was NIRGUNA

Yes, you're right. People can get very violent in the name of their God. I like the term you use Divine Energy; also similar is Pure Consciousness. I've not heard the term Nirguna before, thank you, I just looked it up and one source put it as " state of complete knowledge of self"...I love that explanation
