Been keeping my eye on this kid since I saw a video of him playing in his High School talent show. Waylon has all the natural instincts and talent of a Country / Folk singer, songwriter, acoustic guitarist. He is starting to blow up like I knew the first time I heard him sing that he eventully would be successful in Music. Way to go Waylon !! I am happy for you Man, and pround of you !🤠

I saw him in Memphis with red clay strays. He did great. I hope he can move away from the Zac sound. I think this song helps

I don't want this to come across as hate but lots of these new "country" guys sound so similar. Would like to see some of them with an original sound. Felt like I've heard this song before.

yeah, looks and sounds like a kid doing cosplay. might be cool when he grows up and gets bullied by life a bunch more.

Part of me hates to agree with you, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't. And absolutely, no hate directed towards this kid in particular. I don't think he's bad at all. He can play, he can write a bit, and he's got a nice voice (on top of being a good looking guy, which is always helpful). He's just a kid, so plenty of time/room to improve With how much access we have to music these days (thanks in large part to channels like this), it is SO hard to differentiate yourself as a musician. Artists that blow you away the first time you hear them are as rare as ever. But many more talented, if unspectacular, artists have more of a platform now than they ever would have had in years past. That's not to say that they're bad or shouldn't be enjoyed and listened to as well. But they do tend to kind of sound the same after a while.

C, F and G chords with capo on 2nd fret is too darn common in new country music. I still like this song though lol.
