I was hoping to see this comment. For some reason I think he thinks the alternator will act as less of a sacrificial load when the current load is reduced.

great video. i do have a question. i just bought the 2016 silverado LTZ and i dont have that collision alert feature . any idea why or how i turn it on if its not on my stearing wheel?
@WesternGMDrumheller5 жыл бұрын
The collision alert feature is a camera system that's up by your rear view mirror. It would have a large black triangle when you look at it from the outside. Yours won't have this and its not something you can add after the fact, sorry.

@@WesternGMDrumheller what is the price range today for them
@WesternGMDrumheller3 жыл бұрын
@@bigbeepus3039 The prices really vary depending on Condition, then kms/mileage and lastly age. All vehicles take the biggest depreciation in the first 3 years losing roughly 40% of their value and a 4yr old vehicle vs a 6yr old vehicle in the same condition and with the same kms will be worth nearly the same value you might only see a $1500 difference between them. So a good guide is if its in very good condition and is 4yrs old with 100,000kms on it its going to be worth roughly 50% of the original MSRP. Demand for used trucks is HIGH right now so don't overpay for a used truck as we expect demand to decrease by fall. Like I tell my wife, "There's always a good deal to be found"

I get it. England and just about everyone says Zed when you see a Z in the name. But if it says "LTZ" why pernounce it "LT.. Zed"? I'd just like to know the reason behind it
@posjoey7 жыл бұрын
Hayden Briggs that's how they pronounce it. "Zed" not "Zee".

Biggest piece of shit I ever bought. About to see if I have to replace the transmission after 3 years on my 2017. Conveniently just after power train warranty lapses. 45k lawn ornament at the moment.

Dads 2018 already about to get a new one built at 40k miles, they’re absolute pieces of shit 🤷🏻♂️ I bought a ram but my uncle has a 2014 ram with 160k miles and only issue it had was the exhaust manifold , along with the hemi tick that developed at 140k… the only newer trucks that came out ok were 15-17 5.0 f150s

1/2 ton junk. My 1985 Chevy 4x4 1/2 ton can take a beating. The newer 1/2 tons is basically a car and can’t handle being used as a truck. I own a 2016 Chevy fours wheel drive 3/4 and a 2005 Chevy four wheel drive 1 ton. My old 85 can keep up with HD trucks. A newer 1/2 would puke if put to the test.

It’s not. A friend of mine pulled it out of his 86 Blazer for a 6.0 swap. Its a real good runner. I’m gonna fresh up the top end and check out bottom end before installing. Thanks
