Why are screws placed on the high edge of corrugated sheets and not low edges?

I am assuming that you're talking about the screws that are used to attach the corner trim? The corner trim sits on the high part of the panel and that makes it the best attachment point. If you're referring to the corrugated sheets themselves getting screwed into a substrate it goes as follows: Metal Roofing = We suggest screwing into the high, although it's a personal preference and many installers will put a screw in the low.
