Westfalia Jules Verne, an iconic Mercedes camper van

The Westfalia Jules Verne is 514cm long camper van on a Mercedes base can carry as much as 50 litres of fresh water and comes with a 100Ah habitation battery. It also has a toilet and shower (OK maybe not super comfortable but it is after all a car)!

I do this by regularly attending trade events such as CMT Stuttgart, Abenteuer und Allrad, Caravan Salon Dusseldorf, Warsaw Caravan and Camping Show and sometimes others.
I cover equipment, including 12v electrical equipment and talk a lot about lithium batteries.
I also show some of the places I have visited in Europe in my own motorhome, as well as the places you can stay at! I try to give as much coverage as I can to official campsites and free places which I use for overnighting. Therefore you can find here the aire or stellplatz that you are possibly looking for.

Alan, I think there are also light switches at the sliding door entrance on the press which is helpful if you enter on the offside. I think I prefer this version to the Kepler one as it has doors on both sides whereas the VW variant only has an entry door on the traffic side (UK/Irl), the short wheel base will make parking easier too and I think this model for 2021 can be ordered with 4 wheel drive too which is also nice. We are looking for something that is compact, flexible and reliable as a daily driver so the Kepler One might be too long and the California too short, but I think this one meets the Goldilocks principle of being just right.

Kampervans, in my opinion, kould be used for out of town kuick trips. Or stay over the holidays with family. My opinion.

That thing in the cupboard is for your privacy while taking a ... The electrics are there because you can reach it easily while laying on the Bed

I guess for the people who need their daily driver to town to be a camper also. Does anyone know if you can walk in it with the roof down ?

I dont know how they justify the price. It seems someone could build one that most people can afford

Michael that is not how the system works. Manufacturers need to cover costs and as for what people can afford, clearly there are people who can afford it as the waiting list is well over one year.

Just to correct you. The blind in the rear wardrobe has nothing to do with the shower. It is a privacy screen if you are using the toilet.

Does the Kepler 1 have 4motion? It looks to be exactly the same plan as the Jules Verne, But it's on the VW and not the Mercedes.
