So much has changed since the 70s. I went to see "Digby, the Biggest Dog in the World", "Herbie Rides Again", and "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" with my dad at what is now the Zanzibar, and other regular trips with him would be to the Wimpy Bar in Duckworth Square. Or else my gran would take me to the market hall and we'd buy tripe wrapped in newspaper and bags of broken biscuits. I left Derby in 86, but was actually there visiting my parents in Aug 2012 when you made this video. That was such a great year to be back in England for the Olympics and the Queen's 60th. Thanks for uploading - I'm pleased to have found your channel!

Oh yes lots since the 70's. Zanzibar shut in January 2012 and it became Cosmo restaurant. Its been 10 years since I made this video and even in that time a lot has changed. Thanks for leaving comments on my videos btw as its so nice to get feedback, Ive got over 900 videos on my channel.

I may be wrong on name of shop. It was located opposite Babington Arns pub. You can see Curtains & Linens on it's display. It is at 1:15.
