The Westford Knight was Sir James Gunn. He came over on the ship Perequin with Prince Henry Sinclair in 1395AD. When Prince Henry Sinclair came back in 1398AD, Sir James Gunn had been killed by natives SW of Westford, Massachusetts.

There is a hooked x on the rock there. I wonder if he would look into that.

If there is a hooked X on the rock, then it is highly unlikely that Steve St.Clair would have over looked that symbol. However, this dedication was actually not the place to go into what is supposed to be reason for or the history of the hooked X.
