Can efficiency mode be the standard start mode?

at this point in the ICE and BEV cars you can't start it as standard... What i'll be curious is if they carry over electric mode as default in the PHEVs (we havne't gotten any in yet...) but long story short that's based on power delivery so that's why PHEVs can do electric as standard. However, Sport, Comfort and Eco Pro (Efficiency) are all drive modes not power modes, so unless you code the car to start in a certain drive mode with a coder you will be in Personal/Comfort everytime you start the car (at least as it sits right now, it could very well change in the near future)

i4 doesn't get it because it uses service pack 18... main things you miss out with the difference that most people would notice is AR Nav, Interior camera, next gen parking assistant and Digital Key Plus

@@BMWofFW when BMW intend to include it in the i4? Soon or later they should do it if the customers demand it. Here in Europe, my dealer told me maybe next year but he doesn't have an estimate for Germany.
