Basically what I'm hearing is the aa on the ground just needs a buff. Old battlefields games had launchers where you didnt even need to lead at all and you could mess up choppers and planes. Let alone just blowing tanks up in bf3 given the fact that even the scout class had the c4. The skill arguement, and the argument that no Individual person couldnt do this is less then negligible.

Beign a fighter takes skill, bombers not so much, but if you want an op AA then just buff the AA vehicles, this is op because any player can spawn with it and unlike bf4 planes dont have flares so there is no strategy.

No, planes are overpowered. When you have someone hopping in a plane and casually going 50+ kills and 0-2 deaths you know there is a problem with balance. Planes aren't hard either plug in an Xbox remote practice for a day and you are a 10.0+ K/D guaranteed. This is a necessary deterrent to the pilots who mindlessly farm kills by doing brain dead strafes for 20 minutes straight getting 2-4 kills every pass. Also Westie is totally missing the point as to why this weapon can 1 shot and comparing it to ground vehicles. When a plane is flying overhead you only have 1 shot it's too fast. When a tank is near you have a chance to hit it as many times as you like as long as it's shots don't find their mark first.

This is untrue on so many levels. You can practice for weeks and still not be good. There is AA, other ace pilots flying in formation and the fact that when no accessories are unlocked, the planes themselves are underpowered against any other planes. Example is trying to shoot down a bomber with no nitrous, engine upgrade, no tickets etc. It's extremely challenging learning to fly, cover your team and get kills, much more than hopping in a tank.

I play infrantry and i also like to fly a lot However this Gadget seems to destroy more fighters then bombers. The more fighters get shot down, the more bombers you got in the air. The only thing i would want to change is the Visibility of the Fliegerfaust firing. Sometimes you just get hit by invisible stuff.

@@smolwavingsnail9028 that's what friendly planes are there to help with, also any man on the ground who can land a shot with a standard gun will stop the repair process, I used an mg42 to damage a bomber for 10 damage on a strafe, and I've shot a repairing plane down with the panzerbusch quite a few times. The thing is nobody harasses planes at all and then they expect the pilots to just leave an easy target. If you are a support guy you may as well pop off a few rounds, you've got UNLIMITED ammunition.

Yes, unfortunately new (back in the days) and very fun JU88A with 2x1000kg, 4x250kg, 32x50kg (at the same time) and early spawns was nerfed. I bet all infantry players had a lot of fun when we were wiping them almost at spawn. But now is time to give a break and play some Operation Underground, till they will nerf this gadget.

I just re watched the video, you destroyed your own argument by highlighting how ineffective AA is, the skill required to take down a plane with the panzerfaust and how little incentive and gadgets infantry has to combat planes, add a little damage to AA(not to much mind), better visibility of troops on the ground???? you have to be kidding How badly balanced the gadget is???, how about the last 12 months of plane imbalance

What I said was to improve the overall plane vs infantry loop, DICE should buff AA cannons, improve pilot visibility & slightly nerf the Fliegerfaust. As it currently stands, infantry don't use AA because they're not powerful enough and it's too difficult to take down planes with PIAT/Panzerfaust. The Flieger needs to sit as an alternative to AA cannons, a way for infantry to single-handedly attack planes, but not destroy them in one hit.

Planes have been flying uncontested without a hard counter for over a year. If I can get dunked on in one shot by bombs and rockets from planes then why should the planes be any different?

If two dudes and sometimes even one can keep the sky completely plane free with this then it is clearly a problem, it also heavily outclasses the stationary AA gun and that makes little sense. Played a round yesterday with two planes going 41/1 and 57/4 and top 5 because no one bothered to counter them, the second round a squad mate decided to pick up the fliegerfaust and hunt them for the whole game and their score changed to 6/3 and 1/7 and bot 5. Isn't that a bit much for ONE guy to accomplish?

@ItHz2p Or, if your team can't get out of the uncap because you have bombers loitering, your uncap AA is blown up and the bombers are WAITING for people to get into tanks / mobile AA just to dunk on them, maybe the planes need a tiny nerf. Alternatively (heaven forbid any vehicle be nerfed ever), you could buff the fixed AA positions at the uncaps, so that they can be rebuilt on ALL the maps (there are still a few where the Uncap AA gets one life, no rebuilds), and maybe a range extension on the damage on the uncap AA (if that is even possible to separate from the other AA models). I love vehicles, otherwise I'd avoid BF games, and I've played since BF1942 (although internet on my end prevented any MP until BF3).

Precision bombing against tanks needs dive, otherwise most of the bombs won’t hit, so the tank will be scatched only. Carpet bombing on objectives, chokepoints can be done from high above, I agree. In other hand, the AA guns wouldn’t be able to dmg the planes if they are higher. So, will the forcing of planes higher help the infantry?🤔

Heres what should be done. greatly reduce the fire rate of the rocket barrage, and make the projectiles considerably slower, so that it actually takes skill to take down a plane with it. As a pilot, I'm fine with it one hitting planes as long as its earned. Another thing is, It should do a large amount of damage to bombers. This will incentivize bomber pilots to do high altitude bombing, which takes considerably more skill in comparison to what they do now. But fighters, who have to fly low in many scenarios, should not be able to be one-shot by this.

The absolute best way to take care of bombers is to shoot them down from a fighter plane. Dice should just put a cap on the maximum amount of bombers allowed on each side, so the fighters on each team will be able to counter the bombers. Too often do bombers take up all the pilot spots, leaving the infantry to suffer.

Kenny Gudz fly higher, use your angles, it’s really not that difficult. I’ve been killed maybe twice with it since adapting my play style better, I honestly don’t find it to be an issue. Also after a week or so I really doubt many people will be using this over the panzerfaust tbh. Maybe lower the damage of one salvo but I don’t think it needs a crazy nerf.

You cant counter it. As a fighter you will now not want to get near the flags and only fly at the edge of the maps, and bomber will either go for suicide runs or fly really high up. When a weapon is better at taking out planes than a AA vehicle its clearly not balanced.

Something Pilots can do is fly higher and not so low to the ground aiming at infantry. Also DICE could decrease the range, damage, or blast radius as some suggestions. Or even make all the rounds have to connect with the target.
