I bought one of these a couple days ago and it’s only staying on for maybe five seconds and then shutting back off. Does it just need a few days to charge or something wrong with it?

You need to replace the cheap Chinese batteries for more quality ones. Keep a track on the solar panel to make sure it is in full sun. Wind will move them out of place after a storm.

@@mercedesbenzs600bash the bottom of the motion detector part has a small rectangle button. It says 30 60 120. Move it to the time u want. Unfortunately, mine apparently doesn't work at all. It was installed yesterday morning and still hasn't turned on once

@@corinnemaynard2824 Oh ok,thanks a lot,you might want to bring yours back and get another one,so your light isn't coming on at all,mine did that once and I set it to the single line and now it's fine,we have a single line,a double line and a circle in the middle,my lights only comes on when set at the single line setting,I don't know what the circle and the double lines are for,the directions are trash,good luck...

@@mercedesbenzs600bash it should say on the plastic. It's auto (motion sensor), off, and constant on. I can't bring it back, I've had it since Feb so it's been to long. Just got around to hanging it up. It's not a big deal, I got it on clearance for 10 bucks. I've tried all the different settings and it's still not working so I gave up lol
