I live in Tenn. I fish on Cherokee Lake in Bean Station, Grainger county. They lower the lake in winter time and fill it up in spring time. Right when fall started and it cooled down for first nights the bass started biting like crazy, I caught my two p b 's both around 4.5 pounds. Then they dropped the lake like crazy in less than a week and the bass tottaly shut down. Driving me crazy cause I go fish like crazy and can't even get a bite most days. Now people are catching crappie pretty good but I'm just not a . Crappie Fisher man. Spring time comes around and it will be on. Cherokee Lake is a pretty big lake. I bank fish and I have a new kayak so I'm just waiting on spring... Keep up the good videos man I like watching. I wonder if the ponds that everybody fishes in Texas is more stacked with fish and makes it easier to catch them? Not saying anything bad about your fishing skills. It's just crazy I go fish and throw all kinds of lures and catch nothing. Oh well good fishing and hope y'all get your pbs every trip...

So I’m trying to purchase my first rod and reel that aren’t black Max’s lmao and 15 dollar rods but hey they get the job done definitely not knocking them because I have four setups that are dirt cheap but they still slay lol so basically I wanna buy my first combo that’s somewhat expensive kinda sorta but I’m thinking about the shimano slx but I think the dc is a little too outta my price range I really want a dc but can’t find one for 120 is my max so I was thinking if I can’t find a dc reel for that price then I’d just get whatever is under that so I saw the normal shimano slx for 100 then a shimano slx 150 XT but then for the XT I seems to have a bunch of different models for that’s one so it’s a lot for me to decide because what’s better? Idk that’s why I’m here asking you lol then I figured for the rod I could just get the 100 dollar shimano slx rod to match it up with or maybe get a googan rod I’m thinking, I really want one of those in the gold series if not that then idk really lmao

@@WestinSmith no luck. Bought 3 of them, down to 1. Love the action on the retrieve and the fall. The hooks are much stronger than similar baits that cost 3 times as much. I can usually get them to bend out to get unsnagged and have had a fish straighten them, but the Clickbaits aren't going to let that happen.

If your trailer is too big, it will add too much buoyancy and the bait won't sink fast enough. Also, if you slide too much of your trailer onto your hook such that the trailer is slightly bent upwards as it exits the hook, then that can cause the bait to "pop a wheelie" and rise up in the water. I recommend to use a thinner trailer like a Zoom Super Fluke or a Split Tail spinnerbait trailer and you should be good to go.
