I remember watching this on tv (why MTU was shown on Philippine TV, I still don't know) and I recall that I did notice they kept repeating the last parts of the song and they did great 😊

@@hannahmontanerisdrunk2588 local channels here usually syndicate popular US series and international beauty pageants. MTU wouldn't have an audience here unless a Filipino-American is competing. But lucky for us, we got to see Westlife perform 😊 (lucky for me that I caught its broadcast then)

I figured out why CBS had finally stopped broadcasting Donald Trump's Miss USA, Teen USA, & Miss Universe pageants since 2002, the annual shows keep bringing lower ratings, so then the CBS intented to give up the pageants, unhappy with their ratings performances over the years. The pageants also broadcast on Univision since NBC took over in 2003, but unfortunately the last televising show edition of Miss Teen USA was in 2007, due to NBC failing to renew its contract. Unlike Miss USA & Miss Universe continues to broadcast on NBC until 2014.

They've performed on quite a lot of pageant several times, I've found videos in 2 Miss Worlds and this at Miss Teen USA. I wasn't born yet when they were at their career peak, and this makes me realize just how broad and international their fandom was. Lowkey hoping for upcoming Miss Universe but probably won't though...

I don't know why they don't do this on Miss Universe cause Miss Teen USA has the lowest ratings among the 3 pageants of Trump. In 1999, Britney Spears appeared on Miss Teen USA, but I don't know what's she talking about.

Still not matter Westlife were bigger although sadly not in America. I think a book could be written about there time in America and why they didn't crack it. I read that management did not want to loose fans in Europe and other countries worldwide so decided not to let them stay in America to be big there. They were having so much success in UK and other countries, maybe they didn't need to be big in America

PA ended up winning the pageant becoming the first winner from her state. The runners up were very successful as well, both Texas and Kentucky went on to place third at Miss USA 2003 and 2005!!
