I recently got the WA concealer in M4 and was trying to figure out my VB shade, since these are the two brands of makeup I use (and I use Augustinus Bader skincare range), but I've decided not to bother with the VB. 2.4ml, crazy much??? Tania, I did the same as you. I ordered M2 first then, I ordered M1 thinking I would need it for winter. A little goes a long way with the WA concealer. I am not convinced with the VB concealer so, I will not be ordering it. I ordered the Gucci highlighter in lilac and it's pretty but not sure how much use I will get with Winter coming.🤷🏻‍♀️ Tania are you going to review the Danessa Maverick new eyeshadow palette? I bought both , I have only used the Westman because the VB concealer got delivered today after I already got ready . I got M3 in Westman and M1 in VB and I can't believe I was spot on pretty much with both concealer colors . I have high hopes for the VB because that's what I like light coverage but I agree they could have added more product for the price lol I mean atleast make it an even 3 . The Westman less is more I used the tiniest dot kinda like I do with the Chanel Sub and I found it works best that way.

I prefer VB for a natural look - I can imagine the WA looking quite cakey in reality but it would be great for photoshoots from an MUA standpoint. As Gucci Westman is a pro MUA she creates products for editorial looks and red carpet - whereas I think VB was creating a product to look super natural for daily life without any image editing xx

Loved your review. VB price is so high for the volume you get. I am not the kind of person telling I am outraged by luxe prices, I buy some pricey items when I think they are really different and I want them so bad (and I know I don't need them, it's just for pleasure). I like the coverage from VBB better than WA, preferring a lighter coverage overall. However, nothing I’ve seen has persuaded me to switch from my Sisley Paris concealer for under eye. It’s also insanely expensive, has skin care in it, but that tiny tube lasts forever. You don’t need much at all, just three pinpoint eyes for lasting coverage that doesn’t crease. If you find it creases, you’ve applied too much. All that being said, I don’t use Sisley elsewhere on my face. For touch ups on my face, I like the Cle de Peau stick concealer. It’s thick, but it stretches and you don’t need much. Thanks for an informative video- it was very helpful.

You need color correction in peach -Givenchy and Huda have those. Then, use the exact shade of your foundation, and if you want some brightness a touch of the another in half or one lighter shade. So only three things and setting powder- I recommend translucent one.

I do not like makeup that contains skincare, because I feel like it boxes me in, to where in order to benefit and see skincare results you have to use that product ONLY and use it every day, and there's days that I am at home bare faced with no makeup on . Unless you’re on a no makeup day and wear the concealer straight on bare skin, I don’t think the expensive skincare ingredients are necessary in a product that sits on top of so many layers.
