However I don’t like the currents trend of very tight and see through dresses which leave nothing to the imagination, not just for the groom but for the guests too. Your body is precious and special and should be kept so just for your husband and him only.

What a gorgeous place to hold a wedding. The shade of the trees with just a bit of sunlight filtering down between the leaves and the sweeping tendrils of the weeping willows trees is so beautiful especially mixed with the beautiful flowers and floral accents. Such a beautiful ceremony and I LOVE all of the flowers and how they were used to decorate the different areas of the wedding and gathering. Your wedding ceremony and celebration afterwards was the perfect balance of community and celebration of the newly wedded couple and the joining of their families.

I have spend time with people in the Old German Baptist Brethren Church. They have higher standards for marriage. They don’t believe in remarriage after a divorce. They take the marriage vows very seriously. Remember when one of them said to me that especially when children are involved keep the family together.

The Amish are far stricter but the women’s clothing certainly looked it. Men would have beards if they were married and hats. Far plainer and certainly not a car. I was in Amish country last week and the horses and buggies are going strong. Absolutely beautiful wedding but is it crass to comment on the decor? Those tables and the flowers were the prettiest I’ve ever seen after being a caterer for 30 years. Breathtaking!
