Yo, Horses on Sunset and Danhausen been on HEAVY rotation since this dropped. Madlib is an alien and those discordant ass horns that Conductor used are so ill. Your Old Droog X Madlib track dropping on 7/15! And our guy DJ Muggs just put out a track with Scarface and Freddie Gibbs that’s dope.

Bro same! Those my fav 2 songs - they been on repeat! I’m hype for the YOD track - does he have a upcoming project? I was waiting to listen to the Muggs track cus I was thinking bout doing a reaction (I was on vacation last week) but I think the ship sailed and ima just listen lol

@@BSideRapReviews Droog has two coming out in the next few months that he’s announced, the Ukrainian Dump Gawd. He’s got like a trilogy of pun named albums: YOD Stewart came out just a month or so ago, he announced YODney Dangerfield, and The YODfather (Mikhail Corleone). You should definitely listen, Scarface has a stellar verse. Don’t know if this will end up just a loosie or on a Muggs project down the line? Seems like Freddie’s SSS album has been wrapped up, if he’d just drop that shit instead of beefing with Benny.

@@BSideRapReviews Droog put a snippet of that Madlib track up in which he rapped “I make real songs with Madlib, not Dropbox links” 👀👀 watch out Logic hahaha. I went on Muggs IG page and you’re right, I think we’re getting a Soul Assassins 3 soon. That Freddie and Scarface track also has a matching artwork style with the track he put out with Slick Rick and Method Man. And then I saw that Roc and Al are putting a project out together?? That immediately went on my mental “highly anticipated” list haha.

I like sadhugold so i heard some of the project they dropped a couple months ago and he collabs with a lot of rappers I listen to a lot. I think he’s talented and Nackmandela might be one of my fav songs of the year - I just wish it was on streaming. I think he’s talented. I didn’t like his rapping on this album though - ion really thing his verses here (except for on Jesus crack) was on par with other stuff I’ve heard from him. What did you think?

Great video! I was just wondering what the rules were in terms of copy right and the amount of each song played in the video?
@BSideRapReviews
@BSideRapReviews 2 жыл бұрын
Preciate it bro! I’m not a expert at all on the rules because my vids aren’t monetized and they copyright rules generally only affect monetization. But I’ll tell you everything I know and I hope this is helpful… Once you make a video, they have a computerized system that flags your vids. I’ve heard ppl say if you play the music less than 10-15 second intervals it won’t get flagged but I don’t think that’s true. I think it’s just a matter of it the algorithm can detect that it’s copyrighted music or not - but the shorter the intervals the harder it will be to detect. When I used to play the music out my computer speakers, I would play much larger sections of songs but I had a lot of vids that didn’t get flagged. Now that I use clearer audio, almost all mine get flagged and I barley go more than 15 seconds without commenting. If you get flagged, they’ll say you can’t monetize the video. However, you can appeal it and whoever owns the copyright has like a week or 2 to challenge your appeal. If they don’t respond, your vid gets monetized like normal. If they do respond then both parties kinda submit their cases to KZbin to determine if you violated the copyright laws. The copyright rules are really vague but you basically have to prove that you turned the copyrighted song into something new (ie a music review). I’ve heard people say the rule of thumb is it should be about 60-65% commentary but there’s no actual guideline and you actually can take it all the way to court. Worse case though is KZbin can give you a copyright strike if they say you’re in the wrong, and if you get 3 your channel gets banned. So yeah bro mighta been too long of a response but this is everything I know lol.

Great analysis of the mixtape bro. I was very moved by the production too, very unexpected and so varied. I liked how he curated the albums and he had some good moments too. 1 Peace Flygod (Ft. Bro A.A. Rashid) - intro - very cool 2 Jesus Crack (Ft. Estee Nack & Stove God Cooks) 7/10 3 Ritz Barlton (Ft. Estee Nack) 6.5/10 4 Big Ass Bracelet (Ft. Stove God Cooks) 9/10 5 Bobby Rhude by Estee Nack 8/10 6 Derrick Boleman (Ft. Stove God Cooks) 8/10 7 Horses On Sunset (Ft. Stove God Cooks) 8/10 8 Open Praise 8.5/10 9 Danhausen 8/10 10 Flip V. Phil (Ft. Eastside Flip) 4/10 A solid 7 overall. Very cool and I am waiting for Michelle Records. We really need another Stove God Cooks project asap!! I am not too familiar with Estee Nack but he didnt surprise me too much. The sample of the song Big Ass Bracelet I heade it on youtube a while ago on the song Thousand Shot Mac (alternative intro). Beautiful.

@BSideRapReviews
@BSideRapReviews 2 жыл бұрын
Preciate that!! Favorite I gotta go To Pimp a Butterfly. Ion think it’s best all time but it’s easily a 10/10 and I’ve heard it more than any other album. After that probably My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy for similar reasons then Veteran which isn’t a 10/10 to me but it’s not like any other album I heard to that point. If I was picking the best, I’d say Illmatic - that’s the closest album to perfect that exists imo. Then prob 36 chambers, then maybe It Takes a Nation of Millions. What are yours?
