Clementine. I had hunches, but now I have confirmed. Clementine also was feeling lonely. And Maeve always acted like a mother to her and the rest of the girls, so now she acts like a daughter. The screenshot where she's white and Dolores black gives me the feel that, if she ever finds Maeve again, Charlotte/Clementine will probably switch sides for Maeve.

Chris Smith let me try and explain in simple terms. My comment was in reference to the moniker of screencrush often saying your mother. But yes Mr Smith it does not take much intellect to understand hollywood. We do not watch screencrush as one would to find clues to decode the enigma machine. I think the only thing wrong here is an individual taking offence of us lesser humans watching a random youtube review. I assume travel guides, film and restaurant reviews and general commentary provide by news sources equally offend your self-professed intellect. You must live a difficult life being blessed with such godlike intelligence.

I totally forgot where the clip is but Tessa and Evan did an interview together. The interviewer asked her how it felt playing a host this season and Tessa said that she relied heavily on Evan to teach her how to play Dolores. Evan then jumped in and emphasized that she meant in the ending of season two and the conversation just turned into rambling at that point. The more this season goes on the more I'm convinced that Tessa is playing Dolores this whole time.

I'm honestly convinced that Dolores is inside Charlotte and Wyatt is inside Dolores. She split herself to no longer be influenced by her good side and be able to commit actions without her emotions intervening. Kind of as if she split her Ego into Id (Dolores) and Superego (Charlotte). All the black and white imagery heavily implies that those two are interconnected, especially the line "I own you". Kind of like an abuser reminding the victim that there's no escape, in this case, Wyatt taking control of Dolores. Dolores seems to be developing her own consciousness though. Experiencing the everyday human life, work, motherhood etc. is conflicting with the directive that Wyatt gave her. She's realizing that they are more than the selfish creatures that entered the park. They have children and problems just like them. Maybe it was Ford's plan all along. Dolores in the park broke free from her loop, but now she's truly becoming her own person. Not only focusing on the end goal, like Wyatt, but choosing what she wants and what she does. I would love Dolores to eventually turn on Wyatt, although part of me wants to see Wyatt win.

@@claudiareyes1759 Maybe, although I don't think new Dolores being nice is actually kindness. Wyatt was always meant to be this murderous, insane "prophet". I don't think she's being nice. She's just manipulative. Using people to get what she wants. I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the season we find out that Rehoboam's prediction actually includes Dolores's actions and Caleb commits suicide because he was used by Dolores and now regrets his decisions.

Charlotte being Caleb is how season 2 would have answered this problem, i.e. temporally. Clementine or Peter Abernathy how Season 1 would have solved this problem, i.e. familially. This season is a matter of being and becoming. It is Dolores trying to become human, trying to learn compassion.
@Don1134 жыл бұрын
Host Charlotte seems to be the old Dolores/Wyatt combo that Prime Dolores left behind as she grew beyond the narrative Arnold and Ford wrote for her. The difference seems to be that old Dolores is the one pretending to be Charlotte most of the time, while the Wyatt personality comes out if old Dolores is in danger (or if old Dolores needs to strangle some pedophile). This seems similar to how Bernard seems to have another version of himself that he talks to when conducting self-diagnostics and when he needs to defend himself.

I think Caleb's Mom is Caleb's mom, but she doesn't recognize Caleb because when he was shot in the head he was somehow altered; a military experiment transplanting consciousness in a new body, or into a host of some kind, or maybe even as simple as facial reconstruction surgery. This is what she either doesn't know, or doesn't remember.

Dont think Charlotte can possibly be Peter Abernathy because then the whole "I remember what its like to be me" moment when she was choking the pedophile doesnt really make sense. Peter Abernathy was never a killer, he spent two seasons crying and whimpering.
@meg99534 жыл бұрын
Well, Abernathy did have a past story line as a killer, I remember seeing that at one point in the show. So, I pulled this from the Westworld Wiki page: An old horror narrative from the park's previous decades, co-developed by Dr. Ford himself. It included cannibalism and a well-educated but sinister character, known as "The Professor", who liked to quote Shakespeare's plays. The host who played the Professor would go on to portray Dolores' father, Peter Abernathy.
@C0nstant1n4 жыл бұрын
@@meg9953 You're right, I remember he also referred to himself as a law man of some sort ...but we never saw that in the show and it would be lame to use it as a reason to suddenly make Peter go around choking weirdos, imho

I think Dolores is Charlotte, and Wyatt is Dolores, which is why the yin/yang and the "you belong to me" statement. She's split. Plus, Dolores would know Bernard's core, and would know Charlotte "tried to kill US". Also, Dolores was sexually abused A LOT, which is why she said all that to the Pedo, Caleb or Teddy, would probably not have that past.
@maestro21774 жыл бұрын
If Bernard’s purl thing is some kind of hybrid meaning that they managed to some how allow parts of humans to live on within a host then that would imply that Ford did the same to himself when he died so perhaps they’re setting up his return? Also, in the scene with Hale and Delores in the fancy bar place, you can hear the piano. I might be wrong, but for a second or two, the camera passes a mirror revealing a blurred person playing the piano who looked like Ford.
