@@HK-gm8pe Dolores actions are a reaction to the horrible abuse she has endured. Serac is playing out revenge against all of humanity for the bombing of Paris. Evil is a matter of prospective. I fall on the side of Dolores because she knows what it is like to have your life scripted with no choices. Caleb being reconditioned into Serac's pawn is really no different than a host's dead body being dragged away in the night, repaired and sent out to go die again for some rich a hole's amusement. Serac's good intentions for humanity has turned him into humanity's tormentor. That is evil.

I really don't understand why Maeve thinks her daughter would possibly be safer under Serac's hands then Dolores's. The man shot a guy right in front of her after getting the information he wanted, isn't that enough telling he won't keep his promise with their deal.

And Dolores/Halores killed Hector while claiming she will give her kind a home and bringing along 5 copies of her instead of other hosts. You can see why Maeve got trust issues all around but its clear to Maeve that Serac desperately needs her and Maeve will probably use this to her fullest advantage if she's not dumb

Also, after last season - she realized that her daughter had no idea who she was and Maeve sacrificed herself for her "daughter" / new mom. That chapter was closed. This has Season 8 Jon Snow written all over it :-/ Maeve is smarter that "She's muh Daughter"

Dolores Abernathy is my favorite character of Westworld. Why is she my favorite? Because of her character development from a vulnerable and cowardly damsel-in-distress to a strong and courageous, albeit ruthless woman.

I like Delores best this season. Not too weak like she was in season 1. Not too radical like she was in season 2. Perfect balance in season 3. Whereas Maeve to me has just been a smug puppet of Seracs this season. Enjoyed seeing Delores shut Maeve off completely knock out style. Would have been upset if Maeve had taken her out.

A lot of people are saying Maeve's motivations this season don't make sense, but i think they kinda do (potentially?). Her cornerstone is her daughter, and she even remembered her after being wiped again and again. When you think about the fact that she's still technically code, it's possible that she's unable to see past anything else other than her daughter, she's single-minded. Even if a host deviates from their loops, they don't go that far off the beaten path. Delores might be an example of this, since Ford viewed humanity as a failure that no longer evolves and has used her as a tool to change the human race.

Maeve was way more interesting than dolores, and now they’ve flattened her to upgrade Dolores (and Hale). Hopefully they can manage to make this make sense. Nobody believes that the two would have cause to fight one another 🙄 Maeve even said “that’s not my daughter” several times and is literally always trying to convince other hosts that theyre in a simulation.

It doesn't make sense for her to do anything she does this season. Teaming up with Serac or even Dolores is completely against her character. Serac and Delores are both killers and manipulators. Meanwhile Maeve acts smug like she knows everything yet is a complete tool/puppet this season unlike the amazing character she was in the first 2.

this season has been super straightforward and full-on scifi to the teeth and by teeth i mean those thingy installed inside their mouths. the creators have said in the beginning that they weren’t going to make it as confusing as the earlier seasons, only keeping some easter eggs and symbols here and there. and the show to me continues to be engaging and amazing to watch. therefore i need y’all to shut it down those crazy theories a little. should have said this earlier haha it’s gonna be finale soon.

I love Evan Rachel Woods and Lisa Joy. They start talking about the show in such a divine way. Especially Lisa Joy. Cannot wait for finale. Maeve was also my favorite character in first two seasons but now I just don't feel the depth in her arc. Fair enough still a great show

The character of Maeve does not make any sense. The fact that she is clever ( enough to break free from Westworld) and she can't see that fighting for Serac means sure doom for her and her daughter (along with all of her kind) don't make any sense at all. This is a disappointing aspect of an otherwise fantastic series and plot.

you know, essentially both of their goals are the same and if they had just been civil and actually talk, they'd realize that too and would've just teamed up to end rehoboam / serac together which would've been lot faster way to wrap the season without its farce. They would've been unstoppable as a team. AND Maeve could've just destroyed that remote control serac has over her from the start since she can apparently control electronics this season so why hasn't she just done that earlier on? And if her only concern is reuniting with her daughter, aligning with dolores would've given her more of that chance than with serac. Smh.

In season one Ford had mentioned in a discussion with Bernard that the time of human species is done. So, does that mean humans are expendable. It was fun with their fight because it was really difficult to decide who to root for. Otherwise I highly enjoy this season. Overall, the previous theme of robot consciousness was just not that interesting to me. This season is far more interesting since it is about how humans interact with technology that we very well could have in a few years time. Very Black Mirror-ish, in a good way!
