We are old school we have a older JD cropper with a 3 row picking head we add a screen and chop cop and corn works good for us

Find a job packing corn & grading. I loaded the bucket with extra weight just for packing as they’re faster back & forth with empty super faster & easier to do final grade & smoother But I’m a skid steer addict😅😅

Cole, what's the yield monitor say? Here in west central Iowa, the corn is just starting. The silage guys are done, yields averaged @20percent less than last year.

6:30 looks like some uncracked corn in the finished product - will that be degraded during the fermenting process? Other channels I am watching have indicated that a whole kernel is not digestible by the cow and is essentially wasted.

That sounds kinda like the slip clutch on a 95 john Deere. This statement is information for the viewers. Cattle use more of dry corn , if it is ground.

Don’t you cover your stacks over there not sure if you do it differently as here in aus corn and grass stacks are all covered with plastic to ferment it and protect it so there no spoilage and normally as soon as choppers or loader wagons are done and stacks rolled covering starts

Not when it is that dry. If you get it early enough you can eat.field corn. Not common though. Sweet corn is what most folks eat.
