Let’s face it, if Briscoe hadn’t torpedoed SVG in the first third of the race, SVG was on his way to a sweep of both races for the weekend. Once he got knocked out, and then Larson, a lot of interest disappeared. I still think it was a great race apart from all the cautions as you say, and I think the track is fantastic for racing so I’d love to see them do more. They just need to as you say either move it earlier in the day so there’s no rain, or change the date so there’s less chance of it because the rain although it makes a little bit interesting, when it’s as heavy as it’s been the last two years, it’s just ruining the spectacle that it could be.

Like, fr, it's literally a single slow speed side swipe that was extremely contained, and with justification that was known not long after it happened. Hell, there's been worse as far as that goes (Dillon versus Keselowski), with much less ire. This was about on par with anything between Larson and Hamlin in the last year. Hate really do be turning people into DARFs.

​@@K9RacingAndStuff I would say the problem is that it was the cool down lap and you don't know if drivers have taken their seatbelts off. Remember Keslowski hit Kenseth on the cool down lap and Kenseth was upset because he already had his belts off. Then Keslowski rear ended Stewart on Pit Road and he then reversed into Keslowski junking the 2 car and if I am remembering correctly Kenseth fought Keslowski between the haulers.

Race was good, chaotic, just like Nashville, but it was one of the weirdest races I have ever seen. I don’t understand why NASCAR is unlucky with mother nature. What did NASCAR do to Mother Nature? 10% chance of rain, and it rains. Wtf. Also you are right. No need for stage cautions for road courses. Anyways, NASCAR is really having a chaotic summer, and Im sure Pocono will be no different.

They click off WAY too many laps under yellow. They get everything cleaned up and then waste 2-3 more laps farting around. They must have zero idea how disjointed that makes the experience for fans watching on TV.

Wow with the time clock on the lock before darkness, this was great call by both Joey Hand who came with nothing to go for the win and finish 4th & also Alex Bowman to go for the win to lock in the playoffs on keep the wet tires on and that was an earn win by Alex Bowman.

@JettMDK you gotta remember that Bowman is an EXTREMELY underrated RC racer. He's constantly fast at Sonoma, He's never finished outside the top 10 at the ROVAL, and he's never finished outside the TOP 5 at COTA.

Rain had been a big determent for racing pretty much this past month and a half; between the 6h Imola, Indy 500, Nurburgring 24h, 24h Le Mans, Spa 24h, and pretty much all of NASCAR at some point. As a fan of all racing I'm just tired of the wet. This race just exemplified everything that can suck about wet weather running.

Alex Bowman has now Won both Chicago Races as well as the Fortunes being reversed from the year prior for Bowman & SVG in regards to Winning The Race & Finishing Dead Last on The Streets of Chicago

Bowman ran in the top 10 all day long and made no mistakes except taking out Bubba! Alot of drivers did the same thing as bowman! The difference is Bubba had to show his ass as usual! Didn’t see any other drivers running around hitting other drivers after the race!

What about, next year, the trucks run Friday night at Chicagoland? Then the Xfinity and Cup Series drivers can run the street course on Saturday and Sunday. Then, for 2026, they can take the street course to somewhere else and have it be an alternating thing. And Chicagoland can properly return in 2026?

Since we were complaining about Record 5 overtimes now we just race until a certain time and who was ever in the lead wins the race that's the way we ought to do it from now on just set a time and when time expires who's ever in the lead wins the race that'd be a good one that's so f***** up but that's NASCAR for you they could pull rules out of their ass anytime they want as long as it suits their winter all four Hendrix cars made it to the chase safely and Bubba got buttered out he should get a penalty by the way hitting a car the winning car during big time after the race is over that's not right but I can't see them being consistent and it is Bubba the virtual signaling continues in the NASCAR world of nutty finishes and crazy rules and nothing makes any sense what a crap shoot😂

lol hollywood strikes again,, honestly everywhere in the summer, south etc its rain chances go up in the late afternoon. greed is more important than the race . nascar has got issue's , its no longer a sport its a hollywood promotion. that has become a waste of time. ill be watching dirt track racing online. real racing not hollhywood bs
