I love their demeanor - very well spoken, relaxed and confident with almost no Ego. Many detailers would do well to emulate their presentation.. loving this series Matt..

Ego kills information. And yeah, Ive noticed with these guys; they are all there to learn and share.

learned a lot about the M range of meguiars, its a bit controversial than what all the other detailers say, but i can see the difference. so thanx for that

my only criticism would be that they are right about cross hatching. "mowing a lawn will just make it flat, you have to pay attention to where the weeds are if you want a greener yard" My boss at harley made that analogy when i detailed for them and it stuck well.
@Danialdaneshmand5 жыл бұрын
9:36 I DID THAT! and it was terrible no matter how much i polished again it wouldn't come out. and he's absolutely right about the decals and stripes too.i even tried sanding on stripe marks (after removal) and they wouldn't come out either. It's like they etch in really deep in the clear which is crazy.

What speeds did he use on the machines at the end compounding and polishing? And how much pressure? Thanks 😊
@LSD046 жыл бұрын
With residue control being so important why blow the pads out all over the hood?
@QantonisQ6 жыл бұрын
When you are too fast that only 360P is available... I was waiting for this comparison and of course there no way Matt did not make it :) PS: Maybe something going on with this video. Almost an hour after upload and still 360P.

Not talking down or pretending I know more than anyone. But pause at 33:29 and look at all the swirls still surrounding the round lights... I'm all for keeping an open mind for something if it works, I've been watching the series and tried some of it today, was not dissapointed. Still unsure of the rapid speed though especially with the swirls shown in the light.

This hood was destroyed, so only so much an be done with it.
@ryangroth85686 жыл бұрын
Obsessed Garage I completely understand. I was under the impression all the swirl scratches were being removed, only to leave the deeper straight scratches. Thanks for the clarification!

Matt, unless someone is using air in the background, it seems your Air Compressor is kicking on way too often.
@aarong86336 жыл бұрын
There are Diminishing and non diminishing abrasive when it comes to different compounds, you choose your certain compound for the job your working with a diminishing compound will start off at lets just say 1000 grit and work it’s self all the way up to 5000 grit the longer you work the abrasive (cycle time). A non demising compound will just work at lets say 1500 grit your whole cycle time.

So at 26 mins he blows the pad out all over the panel he is working on wouldn't have thought that was a good thing to do.Also what pressure, speed, hard, soft, medium clear coat?
@semiephemeral96 жыл бұрын
I keep coming back to this. So Matt, at the time you shot this, which exact compressor were you running? Because apparently the Tornador requires 5CFM to run optimally and I want to make sure I but the right thing. Thx.
@ObsessedGarage6 жыл бұрын
It was a little dual tank portable California Air Tool compressor.
@semiephemeral96 жыл бұрын
thank you Matt. I'm seeing a couple dual tank California's. One that will do 5cfm for around 3 bills and the other one I think only does 1.6CFM. Do you recall what you paid for it?
@ObsessedGarage6 жыл бұрын
I think it was about $400.
@semiephemeral96 жыл бұрын
