Bought my first cart a few days ago but thank you for the excellent information. I think I will be ordering one of these sound bars soon. First thing is scratch repair and a new paint that job. I subscribed as well.

You should have described how you pulled the cables (with the big end fixtures) through the narrow cart support tube one at a time. This is not an easy task and can be frustrating since the tube is narrow and the side holes are also small.

Where did you get the cross bar that you are going to mount the stereo to? I would like to mount mine above the dash because of the weight.

I've looked on your website and tried the links that are on the comments below but I cannot find the accessory bar that was used to mount the speaker to. I have a 2018 EZGO Express L6, can you send me the link for the bar that I need for my cart?

I just put this on my EZGO gas golf cart and works great until I start driving and the unit powers off. I have this wired to my 12 volt starter battery. Is there a fix for this?

Is a second battery recommended for speaker install on a gas club car precedent?
@mstarr674 жыл бұрын
Do you have a video that addresses a gas cart that needs a second battery to accommodate underglow lighting, sound, light bars, etc. How is that set up? I have heard different answers from different dealers. Such as voltage regulators, dual bank chargers, batteries that don’t need a charger, batteries that will need to be individually charged. So many different ideas!!! What do you recommend to support all of the additional accessories.

I have a 2014 Yamaha gas cart and just installed this. It is awesome and loud!! but every time I turn on my headlights it gets distorted and then stops playing. Wetsounds told me that is getting too many volts from the 12v battery. Any idea how I can play this and have my lights on at the same time?

Go by a radio shop, they have a resister that can be put in line to remove the excess noise.

It appears that you hooked the bar up to 16v using 8v batteries? Is this correct? I was going to install with a 30a voltage reducer.
@golfcartking8 жыл бұрын
Yes, it works fine on 16 volts.

Where did you get the bar that was used to support the soundbar?
@golfcartking5 жыл бұрын
That particular bar was a piece of another kit that was left over. (scrap) We actually now have an accessory bar that is used.

Is this only for electric carts? I have a Yamaha G22, gas. Can I use one of these speaker bars on it?
@golfcartking7 жыл бұрын
Yes, it hooks up to 12 volts

How do you know it's capable of running at 16 volts?
@golfcartking7 жыл бұрын
We hooked it up to 2 - 16 volt batteries and played it for an extended amount of time.
I just ordered one of these soundbars. I wish I would have seen this video yesterday. installation manual on wetsounds website says a voltage reducer is required on an electric cart. Wish I would have known it would run on 16 volts. I would have wired it just as you did. instead I also ordered an $80 voltage reducer that I don't need.
