I met Marti when Wet Wet Wet opened for Elton John in 1988 in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It was just me in front of the stage alone with Marti sitting there on the edge of the stage..smiling, answering all of my questions and posing for my camera. :-) So friendly and good looking. I will never forget that night...or how nice he was!

@@karenstepp669 It really did...even though I was young (17) I still knew I had to get in as many questions I could in a short time, but he really wasn't in a hurry. He acted like he had all the time in the world to talk to me, one of his many, many fans. My Mom later told me that she looked down from the upper level (she asked a friend of hers if she could fill in at the concession stand for her so I could go with her to see them!) and she smiled as I did exactly what I set out to do. I waited for them to start rehearsing. No security. Gosh I ran up to that stage so fast but boy was I nervous! I had the pictures blown up and I still have his autograph. He signed it "Hugs and kisses Marti xx". I melted.

I remember watching this when it was originally shown, and I'm loving it now, too. Marti's voice has such a beautiful tone to me. I'm only sorry and sad that he had a drug problem then, because the memory of WWW is a bit tainted by that now. I am so thankful that he managed to break away and I hope he's still sober. They had some wonderful hits, and he sang them so well. It was a really good experience to revisit this gig, despite that knowledge and I'm thankful for the music of WWW.

No need for fancy stage dramatics just good old fashioned great music & crowd interaction! The atmosphere seems electric, the band are on fire what a show! Но одним людям засели в голове наркотики, другим внешняя красота Марти и то как он танцует. Да будь он хоть Квазимодо внешне он все равно великий вокалист. Прирождённый артист до мозга костей, а его друзья и коллеги по группе потрясающие профессионалы. Это факт😊Моё восхищение всей этой команде. Они красивые люди во всех смыслах. Не только внешне. И вся та магия на сцене это их общая заслуга. Я искренне не понимаю почему в комментариях все и всегда их любят, а в какой-то момент перестали ходить к ним на концерты?
