We went to see Marti in the Playhouse in Edinburgh last night. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Absolute brilliant concert. Marti certainly raised the roof. ❤ Such a gentleman and he hasn't lost his range or his Scottish accent. Loved every minute of it. Love to love Marti. ❤🐣🐰

He lost several years of good earnings, plus we lost years of his great voice and songs, he is losing his great singing voice now and really best retire as he has made his money. Nothing worse than listening to a once great singers failing voice.

Most musicians out there are still touring and they are much older than Marti. He stopped doing drugs many many years ago and I'm pretty sure he was doing them after their first breakup.

Watching this now, back in 1995 I never appreciated how good a live band Wet Wet Wet actually are. I also think its cool how their Guitarist Graeme Duffin, has never ever been an official member but they give him a good share of the spotlight here.

They always did say he's a part of the band the unofficial 5th member , he didn't want to be in the Spotlight as he was older and had a stammer he's now gotten a hold of, it was his choice not to be an official member but the guys always said he was part of the band.

@@billymorton5909 Yes he's an "associate" member but not an official member. Also if he was a full member it would have added to the recording contract but the 4 Wets had signed it already before he came onboard. Its pretty much always been just the 4 of them.

If he were to retire or leave the Wets then the majority of fans would probably not notice (in the sense that as he's unofficial there'd be no difference to the public official representation of the band) but there would be a marked difference in their music.
