I flew my DJI mini 2 drone in -40F to -45F cold temperatures and it handled it just nicely, in case you were wondering. I am in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

I am in calgary. Just you know, this drone will be quickly drain you battery in cold weather and reduce your battery cycle. Just remember to make battery warm enough with hovering for 2~4 minutes before you actually starts to fly in cold weather

Kinda sad to see this drone being tormented badly. The same time comforting to see it survived. I have bought it a few days ago and I am excited about its range and low noise! I have owned several DJI drones, phantom 3, 4, Mavic Pro, M2P, Spark and Mavic Air. The Mini 2 features an excellent range, nice Camera and low noise! A big pro. I have sold all my other DJI drones, except the M2P and the Mini 2. I would buy the Mini 2 again.

​You still can repair your drone by yourself when it get damage by water. Just fill the container with the rice and put the dji inside rice and lock the container and wait for about 1week then drone will be complety dry and working fine ​@@DidzYbanez

I just purchased the mini 2 yesterday . I am having trouble connecting phone to the RC . My phone is Samsung A30 android 10.0 and 64 bit so specs are fine . However it just would connect . Even when I try the control and connect option . Any help would be greatly appreciated guys Thanks

I think you fixed it now but for anybody else needs help, the answer is that there is list that dji fly app is supporting and i am using galaxy A31 and working fine. You need to connect Usb C to C(Android) for controller to phone and turn your Drone on and also the controller then start your Dji fly app then i will be working

There is reason for the the drone being under released weight. There is a reason DJI made the batteries ports are compatible with Mavic Mini and the Mini 2. There is a reason that DJI included a payload function buried in the control menu. DJI will be releasing accessories that connect through the battery port. Why the battery port ? To maintain its forward facing flight profile to reduce any drag. Just looking at the back of the drone gives me that idea of connections being added this way. What will be the first accessory? I believe that DJI left almost 10 grams off the 250 gram weight class of the Mini 2 to be able to add a slimmed down forward facing object avoidance system that flips up like an antenna. So it it stills fits in the same bag. Yes it will weight less than 10 grams just because DJI can do technological magic. But expect to spend over $100 for this accessory. So being that the batteries ports are compatible, the Mavic Mini will be able to use this accessory as well but be slightly over weight unfortunately. Unless you but the mini 2 batteries.
