i love the angle that if he's feeling a very very strong emotion, it causes his gas to change types, remember what the show said in the first few episodes (the show show) that quirks arnt always what they appear to be at first, so what if his power of fear is just the default setting, not the full thing of his quirk, and its a different kinda power all together, if they go that route then full praise to the writer

So Izuku's quirk's effects depend on the emotions he feels making those who inhale it feel the same emotion but on a much greater scale... He was scared when he first activated it thus the Fear Toxin being the normal base, while the fight with Todoroki was the first time he used his quirk while feeling a different emotion that wasn't fear instead being angry at Todoroki it caused the Fear Toxin to become a Berserker's Haze making Todoroki to go into a near Animalistic Rage instead of Perpetual Fear. I wonder what would happen if he tried using his quirk while being very sad(Midnight's Death could lead to this one) would the Fog of Depressant make those who'd inhale it remember the most depressing memories like the loss of a loved one? Would people feel happy or better if Izuku was brimming with joy and happiness making a Stimulant or Gasses form of Cannabis(I say this because of a Food Theory Episode Coffee, Science's Most Important Discovery)? After all this is the first time we see Izuku using his quirk when not feeling scared so the Fear Toxin would be the base that he knew all to well.

Right now it seems as if his gas revolves around the emotions he has for example the first time that it had happened he was scared and like sad still it would make sense if it was his worst fear right even if it's just as a kid in the moment This time it was because of his angry that the gas changed does that mean that it changes revolving around his emotion so he's happy than the gas will make you hallucinate about the thing that makes you the most happy or something like that that's fucking insane
