Don't worry about accumulating a huge 4K collection. Right now it's just a fad ~ the movies are only actually 2K-ish on a technical point. For now stick to Blu Ray as they're very affordable for crispy 1080p res. Standard DVDs are 480p (native) and blur/pixelate a _lot_ on 4K televisions. I recommend floating wall shelves for your most prized and large collector items, some good 5-footers and running along the ceiling, certainly clearing up some real estate to better fit your discs.
