Wetsuit review - ProLimit Mercury 6/4 hooded winter wetsuit

Looking at a ion version , what’s it like with the hood off when it’s warmer ? Or do you just have to have the hood on all the time thanks .

When I wear that suit I have the hood up. When I no longer need the warmth of the 6/4 I go to my 4/3 wetsuits. I have two ION CORE SEEK SELECTS and a new ORCA 4/3 as well. All front zip. None of them have hoods. Funny you mention the ION winter suit. I’m buying an additional winter suit so I can sail back to back days in the winter with a dry / fresh wetsuit and I’m going for the ION 6/5 with hood.
