To be honest , i like the way how drama is . I mean i dont want any hugs or kisses or confessions or anything like that . The drama version is itself perfect . Without any of these elements, both wwx and lwj could portray their roles and feelings to each other flawlessly. Just eye talks and understandings of each other are enough for them. I actually don't want this . . . I saw an interview where Xiao Zhan said he was "leaving Wei Wuxian to the person he loves" and I think that's right. I don't want to see more of (the Untamed versions of) WWX and LWJ because I want them to have a happy ending and those only come at the end of stories; and because I don't want a sequel to contradict the subtext. I know there are some sequel movies focusing on other characters, which I want to watch. But any story focusing on Wangxian I don't want, or any big epic story about the cultivation world, because they are too powerful to be left out of that kind of story.

The series is so much better than the novel. In the series, their love is greater than anything, and they manage to convey it without ever mentioning it. I honestly regret reading the novel’s “spicy parts”; to me they completely undermined the trust they have in each other in the series. The series is perfection, in it they are equals, despite all their differences. They value each other above all other, and it’s the most beautiful depiction of a love story that I’ve ever seen.

Finally, I found someone I can relate to. I prefer the series over the novel as well. I find the characters to be more well developed and the relationship between Lan Zhan and Wei Ying to be healthier. Despite the misunderstandings in the past, they stood by each others side and completely trusted each other. They portrayed a deep bond of love and trust without even explicitly stating it to each other. If I only talk about the drama without the novel, the drama is itself too much iconic without any romantic scenes. The actors acting,the whole soundtrack make it too much excellent that the viewers have to obsessed with it. It doesn't matter how much time you will watch it, it'll remain new forever. It was love and no one can disagree. You have to feel their eyes and expressions. The whole story was about love, friendship, family, about right and wrong. Everything make this drama too much iconic. Thanks to Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan for their great acting and make Lan Wang Ji and Wei Wu Xian alive. And thanks to Mo Xiang Tong Xiu for her great imagination
