I feel like each version of the song would be good for different scenarios in a show. For example, the first voice would be suitable for when lovers reunite, the second voice would be suitable for an OST and the third would be suitable for when the main protagonist is sad or hurting. Everyone has their own intepretation on the lyrics & the song, and honestly as a chinese that understands the lyrics, his intepretation speaks to me a lot more than the usual sad take on this song. Just my opinion haha, i dont think its very fair to say from an objective perspective that his piece didn't have the "right" emotion, since it's honestly very subjective

Agree. The 2nd guy (Zhang Xinte) is a really good vocalist & have good control of his voice but it's true that he wasn't able to fully convey the message of the song since this was suppose to be a painful & emotional song but you can hardly feel that pain. Mika (1st guy) sang it well & was able to convey the sad & heartbreaking lyrics too. He did the best out of the 3 no doubt. As for Wangxing (3rd guy) this was his first time singing and he was literally shaking to be ask to come & sing the same song w/ 2 experience vocalists who had been singing for years but despite not having the best vocal & not knowing any vocal techniques nor having control over his vocals, I thought he gave the most emotional one. I feel the pain the most from him. So if anyting he is actually the one who convey the message, the pain & heartbreak of the song.
