It was a 7/10 for me, but I think that is subject to change for the better after a second viewing. About halfway through the second act/early third act were really slow for me. I struggled to stay awake 😅 but still a great movie. I kinda wish we didn’t know Nicolas Cage was Longlegs. I think that would have added so much more to the character. I went into X pretty blind and had no idea Mia Goth played Maxine and Pearl in that movie. I only found out when the credits started rolling. But, I don’t think it would have the same commercial success if we didn’t know what character he played.

Finally watched it today so now I'm going back and watching this stream. Was the movie's scaryness overhyped? Yes. Was it my favorite horror movie of the year so far? Also yes!

I think a cool ending would have been ( because its a supernatural story) That after all is said and done the last shot is back on that long country road and from a far distance you see Longlegs again just standing with his bags, Like we all saw him smash his brains in but hes is STILL around. Creepy.

With the ending, I was thinking there would be a little more to it. Like, she got there to Carter’s house and the reason she didn’t act was cause she was having a sort of out of body experience. And then when she physically gets there, she sees all the carnage after the fact. Also, kinda in the same vein, I thought Maika Monroe’s character was gonna be the accomplice due to some supernatural type crap.

I dig this movie … I’d give it a 7.5, so not like it’s a masterpiece. Lol. The part at the end that frustrated you, totally get it because I felt the same. Howeveeeer, I can do you one better … 😂 … why in the living hell, after Lee is giving you all these clues that girls turning 9 on the 14th of the month, do you not immediately think … WTF, that’s my daughter in a few days, and we haven’t caught the killer yet! THAT part killed me as soon as Lee was walking to their house before going in. Like I knew where it was going and thinking, Agent Carter, you SOB. 🤦‍♀️ lol.

Hey Mike, Nicolas Cage had me laughing sometimes but him in that interrogation room shook me a little. Blair Underwood did a great job as well. He can play crazy as well. Maxxxine was wild!! The ball scene 😣, Kevin Bacon did very well, everyone did a good job. The end of the movie was crazy and can get the start of the end credits while you see her head on the bed. 😱

Honestly I think this is why I avoid watching trailers now. The only trailer I saw was the heartbeat of the actor that just hooked me. I enjoyed this film and only went in know that Nicholas cage was in it and that he is supposed to be very scary to look at.

Has anybody got any theories on why he’s called Longlegs? Could it be something to do with the main character not having a father figure around and he’s in the basement like daddy longlegs?! 🤷 I’m clueless here!

The movie is funny in an uncomfortable way also I didn't find the movie to be scary overall but that opening scene got me really good both times even though I knew what was going to happen the second time that just tells you how effective that movie is great video mike i give the movie 10/10 i just found it to be very creative and eerie creepy and extremely unsettling

But if you see this I would love to know what you think too my thort 's of wen Longlegs kills him sulff He's face looks like some one whos had plastics surgery Too make them sulffs look a tipe of way. And wen he go's head shit mad whif his face. What I loved very good FX I thort As him was going nuts the work he had dun too his face stared too smash. Apart .
