Weymouth LRF Species Hunt Competition - The Big Lerf

About 70 obsessive ultralight fishing (LRF) enthusiasts fell upon Weymouth to battle it out and generally have a bloody good lerf/laugh and raise some money towards a great upcoming project #britainshiddenfishes.
We used lures of varied types to wangle around 18 different species between usout of the sea on what was a bloody hard day's fishing considering its supposed to be July.
The weather change more times than @DevonLerfers lure did but spirits remained high and everyone spread out to fish every inch on offer of harbour and pier.
I had a great day catching my most ever species in one session and an even better weekend catching up with loads of great people!

Thanks Rich! I desperately need a different go pro with spare batteries now. This one had to be recharged twice and I missed most to my fish 🐟 haha

@@Howtotrickafish funny you should say that mate, I've been looking at upgrading my gopro and nearly snapped up a cheap one until i saw that you couldn't swap the batteries out! Will wait till next oay day I think!

I have the Hero 7 white. The camera itself is excellent and connecto the phone etc wirelessly and remote control using phone blah blah is all good. But then you film for an hour and have to recharge. Nightmare!!

Really appreciate the comment! The fishing on the day was actually terrible, but the laugh was non stop. Had a great time. Just wish out summer would finally arrive so we can get some more exciting fishing haha. 🎣
