Thank you for posting this film .. I stayed B&B at 145 Portland Rd Wyke Regis with Mrs Harris, every year from 1954 into the 1960's .. The trips on the Consul Paddle Steamer were magical, & thankfully you have footage of it here ….

The ship at 0:20 is either the St Julian or the St Patrick, not sure which but I travelled on both as a child in the 1950's.

The last i saw of the consul was her hulk being buried into a land fill in hazel road woolston southampton in 68 😢😢😢
