About The Museum of Classic Chicago Television:
The MCCTv (FuzzyMemoriesTV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose primary mission is the preservation and display of off-air, early home videotape recordings (70s to early 80s, mostly) recorded off of TV (in Chicago or other cities now too); things which would likely be lost if not sought out and preserved digitally. If you have any old 1970s videotapes recorded off of TV please email: tapes@fuzzy.tv Even though (mostly) short clips are displayed here, we preserve the entire broadcasts in our archives - the complete programs with breaks (or however much is present on the tape), for historical preservation. For information on how to help in our mission, to donate or lend tapes to be converted to DVD, please e-mail tapes@fuzzy.tv Thank you for your help!

Jeff Smith open collar classic. Kevin Hamilton with the solid community info. And I wonder if an SMU professor made as much as a football player back then?

I was alive at the time, but I have no clue how people kept track of events and stuff before facebook or smart phones. Like, the guy is like "this is happening her and when" and all the info goes by faster than I think I could ever pull out a pen.

Lately I've been thinking the same thing. I was a kid and teenager of the 70's/80s and as I compare what we have now with what there was back then, I keep thinking how did we navigate things back then? I know I was REALLY good at using the phone book and phone calls to track down stuff, but still it's amazing how quickly we forget how we once lived before smart phones and all this ever-growing technology. And yet, we did, and did it well!
