Hundreds flock to the lights at Interlochen every year, but one neighbor's home will remain dark to honor her late husband who loved Christmas.

We have a community in my town called Winding Brook and I have been going there every year since I was 11 years old. Back then, every home would be decorated and it really was magical. I’m now 51 and me and my husband carried the tradition on with our three sons. Every single year I have gone since I was 11 and the last few years, less and less people decorate. It’s really sad to see. But this place in Texas is how it used to be here in Winding Brook and I’m envious. Wish I could travel to see this. Also, my heartfelt prayers to the woman that lost her husband. ❤
