Gisela, agreed! If we stop pumping 40 billion tons of carbon into the atmosphere each year, global warming will slow down.

This is Florida! October is still summertime here. I'm 58 and remember when I was a kid most Halloweens I'd be sweating my ass off in my costume. Cool Halloweens were rare from what I remember. November autumn would finally start getting here. And the earliest we would get a COLD front was Thanksgiving. So the only thing that was not normal this year was all the extra rain. But since we got way less than normal last summer I'm happy we got the extra this year to help replenish the groundwater.

I've been here in Florida 30 years and we just lost our home and everything we own. This isn't natural or normal. I agree with you.

@@SirReptitious Yes it is still a little warm on the surface but the water has already started to cool down and we should not be seeing this kind of activity, and how in the hell is this guy along with a lot of other MSM weatherman able to predict these storms (or play them up) weeks in advance? Just saying there is some strange activity going on that does not appear normal, as there have been three major storms in the gulf in just 13 months that have all landed in the same exact spot in the big bend, when has that ever happened before?

Just stop it. You are embarrassing.

I live in St. Petersburg and love the rainy season this year! I live in a higher elevation area so no flooding. Last year was a drought and it wreaked havoc on my lawns!

I keep hearing that the 2nd storm is going to be a Cat 3 or 4. But you just say a tropical storm. I am debating on whether to leave South Florida (Fort Lauderdale / Broward County) this weekend or not. Not sure what to do.

@@ML-te6qv tell that to Helenes victims. I certainly don’t care because I’m in England. (I lied, I do care. As I said Florida’s full of MAGA weirdo climate change deniers so I enjoy their plights. Feel sorry for the people that aren’t restarded though.)
