We are getting an unbelievable new glimpse of what the Waverly flooding looked like, and just how fast the water moved in and changed the situation from bad to worse.

When you hear of people drowning and you think "wouldn't happen to me, i'd be long gone before the water got high", this video puts into perspective that sometimes there is no warning and no escape.

Many times there is warning, but it is ignored. Being aware of surroundings well before an event makes a difference also. Ever check the elevation when looking for a place to live or spending time in an unfamiliar location? I have . You’d be surprised how you may drop 20 to 30 feet without it being visually noticeable.

Never forget that the world is a temporary place and a test The life of the world is nothing but a game and a diversion. The abode of the hereafter-that is truly Life if they only knew. (Surat al-'Ankabut: 64) Never forget that everything on the face of the earth is created for a purpose. It is a most definite fact that everything you see around you serves a special purpose. There is also a purpose for which you and the rest of humanity exists: He Who created death and life to test which of you is best in action. He is the Almighty, the Ever-Forgiving. (Surat al-Mulk: 2) As the verse above explains, Allah placed man temporarily in this world to test him. He tests us with what we experience in life; He creates this life in order that believers may be distinguished from the non-believers, and by which they may be purified of evil, and worthy of the reward of Paradise. In other words, the world is merely a testing-ground where we can earn the good pleasure of Allah.

"Thus says The Lord God: Whom shall I send? Who will go for Me? There is no more time to tarry. The day is far spent, and the sun is setting upon this age of men. Husbandmen, go out and gather. For the wheat is already bundled, and who is able to loose it? Neither man nor beast is able; behold, nothing in all creation is able to separate that which The Lord has bound together. Therefore, My sons, go out and gather up the remnant, even every last grain which has fallen to the ground. Gather it up quickly before the storm comes, where the winds shall blow, the hail shall beat down, and the rains shall overflow, erode and wash away. Behold, the field shall be left in ruins, in much disarray, unrecognizable to those who look upon it. And what of that which is left? Will not the birds of the air come and consume, and the beasts of the field devour, until nothing of the crop remains? For the time has indeed come for The Lord to stretch out His hand against the wicked, for The God of Heaven to visit the earth. Behold, I shall visit in My wrath and come like a storm! And as a great whirlwind of fire, I shall consume all this wickedness from the face of the earth! For the nations have raged against Me, and the people refuse to give glory to My name. Yet of sin, this they uphold! Thus they shall perish with much shouting, when I cause the earth to rise up and fight against them, until deep and heavy silence covers them and their wickedness is no more before My face! Behold, even in these lands, you call California and Nevada, shall it begin. For they have become as a great river, A RIVER OF SIN, an unending source of abominations, murder and licentiousness! Even that which Sodom and Gomorrah had done pales compared with that brought forth of them! Therefore, My servants, BLOW THIS TRUMPET!... Shout to the masses, by all Manner of speaking and devices!... For you hold The Key to Salvation in your hearts, And there He is within your understanding... SHOUT HIS NAME!" ~ "LIFE HAS A NAME! The Beginning and The End has walked among you! The Source and The Reason is here, and shall also come in great power and glory! From Him did you come forth, and to Him must you return, all you, His beloved. Behold, His names are many and wonderful![1] That which He is has no end, for as I AM so also is He! The Father and The Son are one, and our name, one - YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH! In the beginning was The Word, and The Word Was with God, and The Word was God; The same was in the beginning with God... Through Him all things came into being, And nothing in all creation was made apart from Him... In Him was life, and The Life was the light of men; The Light shines in the darkness, And the darkness shall not overcome it... And behold, The Word became flesh... Immanu El!" ~ "For who can understand the knowledge of The Lord contained within creation, or know the depths of His wisdom?! Yet His Glory surrounds us on every side, testifying to His majesty beyond question! Indeed, we are without excuse! Behold, even the whole of creation shouts, “YAHUSHUA is YAHUWAH!” For it is He by whom all things consist, It is He who causes to be... For The Lord our God is One!"

I experienced a flash flood when a tiny creek that is nothing more than a trickle became a raging river. We had 6 inches in 1 hour and 12 inches in 6 hrs. The creek overflowed it's banks and completely filled my backyard up to the windows. And it wasn't slow moving water. It was dangerous and moving very fast. Very scary and I called 911... They told me they couldn't help me, we were on our own. A couple neighbors went up to the creek and dug a relief channel which reduced the flow towards my house. Luckily the waters subsided before it got anymore out of hand. That whole experience made me realize just how dangerous flood waters can be. It comes quick. I woke up and there was no time to evacuate and nowhere to go anyway since it was flooded everywhere.

TY for showing us this video & while disturbing it shows the timeline on just how quickly people had to react. So happy & sad that Michael's family was saved but his cousins lost & to ALL others who lost loved ones we DO continue keeping you in our thoughts & prayers. Please God Bless Everyone.

I'm so very sorry for what you all had to go through and for all those who died. It's so tragic. I wish it would wake up the rest of the world to put God first 💕🌞

You should include - at least in the description - where and when this happened. When you put up a clip on KZbin it goes out to an international audience. This clip just shows some flooding somewhere and says nothing except, 'here's an interview with a guy who experienced tragedy.'

"God is good"?? But he did nothing as this man lost two relatives and suffered a whole lot of damage. What was "God" doing that was good here? And you're praying to a deity that does NOTHING as innocent people suffer and die. What is he good for again? Find something less useless to worship.

I was there working in New Johnsonville at the time when this happened. We got off work early cause of lightening around 8-8:30am, I then drove back and got gas at the Casey’s in town, seconds later it was like the whole town was under water. So many people lost their lives. I was trying to help as much as I could. I remember finding a girl upstream shivering and crying asking where her babies were, they had been swept out of her arms during the flood. Something you truly can’t imagine unless you’re there. There were officers I believe that also lost their lives, I saw their boat flip as they tried to go out and rescue others. Prayers for everyone.

This is heartbreaking to see... I can say, he's 100% right. Floods are no joke and once the water is in your house- wet carpet turns to waist deep water in under 10 mins easily.
@sandrataylor23232 жыл бұрын
I believe this because back when Hurricane Matthew hit North Carolina and caused devastating flooding in my area it was quick. One moment we noticed the water beginning to cover the street in front of our house and by the time everyone grabbed a few things and headed out the door to our cars, the water had made it to our front doorsteps. We made it out by driving through our neighbors fence behind our house. When we were allowed back the next week the water had been up to 4 feet in our house. All this was around midnight. I was thankful that I was a night owl and noticed the water when I did because if not we would not have been able to make it out. No lives were lost in our neighborhood because the men went around banging on peoples doors to let them know about the rising water and to help them escape. I feel for this man who lost family and friends.
