I have a feeling it's going to land at the Texas/ Louisiana border and track north along east Texas and maintain TS status into the southern section of eastern Oklahoma, putting my area of Arkansas on the east side of the storm, which is usually the stronger side

The Last Time ... a Hurricane went up the West Coast of Florida ... the leading East Winds sucked the water out to Sea so much , people were walking around on the dry shallows ! ... and by the time the West winds and tide refilled it the Storm had gone ... So there was little Storm Surge ... Let's see if it happens again ....
